I'm not sure I understand what you're saying for your first suggestion... I mean, people get an award for the number of poems they have, and there is a minimum average rating you need to get a certain award. So I don't understand your first one.

And your second suggestion has been suggested many times before, and I'm pretty sure it has been shot down more than a couple of times.

the problem with your suggestion is the pure volume of poetry that is submitted to this site daily. Who would choose the winner of those awards under your system?

I think that its a cool idea to hand out awards like that, because it makes people want to get better, rather than just trying to comment a million times, or posting tons of mediocre poems. An award that is either temporary or only given out to a select few people will make everyone strive to be better, because they will be highly coveted (sp?)

It can either mean to want someting someone else has, or to just want something very much.

You still WANT your balls very much.

I gather you are quite attached to them (emotionally, not just physically) by how you talk about them :)

It doesnt make PERFECT sense, but it kind of works.

There isnt something that makes it NOT work, something you covet is something that you want. You do WANT your balls, its not ONLY something you want that you dont already have, its both.

At least attempt to seem like you're remaining on topic...
