Site Contest- Who will be the sole SURVIVOR?

Welllllll now that I'm not a host I gotta do SOMETHING around here so I don't fall asleep. mwahaa!

Guys I have a really fun site contest I'd like to host, like nothing you've ever done before.

Just imagine....being on a tribe with some amazing, favorite authors of yours...and having to vote them off your tribe!

Have you all seen or heard of the show Survivor? Well regardless if youre a fan of it or not, Survivor is being brought here, PnQ style!!

Heres how this contest will work:

2 tribes. 1 Survivor.
I will sign you up according to the order you sign up. For example-

Tribe 1-
Tribe 2-

I say I'm in, I'm tribe 1. Britt says shes in , shes tribe 2 , Maryanne is in, shes tribe 1...so on and so forth. I do not want anyone forming their own tribes, so no if ands or buts about it, thats how your tribes will work.

Once we have our tribes Survivor will be underway.

You'll compete in a series of poetic challenges (given by me of course) ..rounds will be determined by number of participants.

Check this out, When I receive all poems for each round I will then post them ANONYMOUSLY....the public will have a few days to vote. (Even those of you playing...uh oh! Will you vote for someone on the other tribe?) Once I receive the votes I will then reveal who wrote what poem and which team scored the most points. ...It is then up to the LOSING team to vote someone off their tribe...The reason I will reveal the names of the poets AFTER the vote, is so your team can strategize...will you vote off the least point poem? The less creative? The grammatical error poem? Will you form an alliance with other team mates and right away vote off one of the best writers here on PnQ so they dont win?.....

The team will then have 2 days to get together and decide who is being voted off......But wait! There is a redemption island... The tribe mate voted off will head to redemption island and wait for its competitor.

Round 2 will start...once again all poems will be sent to me. Vote. Reveal the names and losing team.....That loser heads to redemption island to compete with the loser from round 1.

Public vote once more, the winners of redemption stays, the loser is out of this contest.

Realize, the winner from redemption island will stay there until teams merge. A merge will be decided on surprise, with no warning, at any time... So after each round there is a redemption round for the losers..

When I do merge the two tribes, alliances can be broken, new ones can be formed with the other tribe...the way you play this game is up to you. You can lie, cheat, borrow an immunity, be a totally innocent little being :)

There are not too many rules to this, if there are rules or guidelines , they'll be posted in each round...

Note, you may PM members of your team, no need to open a thread and make secrets known. Form an alliance, vote together, or stand alone and be the spy.... However you want to vote for a Tribe mate, do it!

ALSO**, all tribe members of both teams will be given an Immunity Idol. The Immunity Idol can be used ONCE by each player if they feel threatened during tribal council. Immunity Idols will keep you safe, and that will send the person with the second highest vote to redemption island...If you'd like to give your immunity idol to someone, it can be used by someone else, EVEN if they already used THEIRS...which means, you will no longer be able to use an immunity unless someone gives you theirs.

I know this is a lot, I know it is different, ask me questions, or play along and see how it goes..up to you...

Usually we have trouble with getting judges to stay the whole contest, with this contest, its judge free and up to the public...

Once we get to the merge, I will then REXPLAIN how the game will work at that point forward.

For now, lets sign up for tribes, and I'll give a start date when Baby Rainbow gets to the end of her challenge she has going on......

But I waited till I was next on Tribe 2 and stated as such. I didn't pick.

...just checked Larry's posted thread with great difficulty, and it seems the Huntress posted the same time as me...and got in first!

Hahaa...never mind, I'm Tribe 1. Don't vote me out, guys...nervous laughter.

Oh dear. I only wanted to be on Larry's tribe so I could easily form an alliance with him and then stab him through the heart.

Wait is it still open? Can I join? I haven't written in ages. Can I be the poetic equivalent to the obligatory crusty old man who used to run marathons in his late twenties? It doesn't seem like this contest will start for another two weeks anyway, Nicko. Baby Rainbow's challenge still has another 2-3 rounds to go.

Another alternative is that I could sign off this contest... I might be unavailable for a week in November.

No one needs to sign off, I have a few volunteers if no one else wants to join :) but I'd prefer someone who wants to join

I'm interested. How often will there be a round? Once a week or more than that?

The queen dropped out due to an absence that will last a few weeks..teams are eve at seven but don't think you can't still sign up. I will find someone to even it out.

The challenges will have a five day limit...redemption round for those voted off by their tribe will only last two days.

If they are even I can pass, I thought I ask since you needed someone but seeing as you don't, its all good. If someone else signs up or drops out by the start, feel free to let me know :)
