I have always felt that the best way to remember the valiant soldiers and sailors is to work for peace so no more have to fight and die for their country.

Yes, we can definitely hope and pray for peace everywhere on this earth. We need more of it.

Spent the afternoon visiting gravesites. We were leaving my grandparents site and bagpipes started playing Amazing Grace. I don't know where it came from. It was the most beautiful thing.

Wow, Britt. I can imagine how moving that must've been. Might be the Irish/Scottish in me, but I love bagpipes. They can be so forlorn.

Surprise surprise...I started bawling. It was so beautiful. I am weird, I like going to cemeteries and looking at headstones, and the music this time just hit me so hard.
