Clubs Announcement

The joys of the internet eh?? It did get me...and some of the others going though and...the end result was at least helpful...I hope lol!!!

Abra has a point.... 3 would be good if we are trying th Keep clubs active. 6 is good to just clear out clubs without punishment imo.

Or...

Just by a water pistol and soak them when they are inactive?

#1 - if there is anyone who reacts and becomes active, your job has worked and they will then complain, hence become active!

#2 - if they really are an inactive club, it will just flood and all of their furniture will be ruined!!

Regarding future trickier pranks. I hope the day you post something serious and no one believes it, won't be anytime soon lol but that would be a lot of fun fuss :p

What happens to those members not in a club currently?
(I used to help run a club, but we had to close the club due to non member interest.)

Nothing at all. You may carry on clubless, create a club, or join a club... As always :)

We're getting close to 100 posts, so maybe we should summarize what we've learned here.

First, it's hard to fool a lot of you guys.

Second, a lot more of you guys are willing to discuss what needs to happen to help this site run better.

We've apparently come to a middle ground that clubs that are inactive for 6 months or more should be deleted, while clubs that are inactive for three months should receive notices to the manager and assistants and wait for reaction.

At the same time, clubs with no managers or assistants might be deleted earlier than six months.

New clubs are free to form, same rules as before.
No effect on the clubless. No effect on joining or leaving a club.

No more pranks will ever come from the mods.

Ever.

And for all those wanting a shorter timeframe who felt their voices went unheard. Trust me, they didn't. We originally planned to decrease to 18 months, not 6 months!
