Do we now have a problem...

Nominating poems from the 'about life' category?

I know there has been a problem in the love and friendships sections for a while now but, I don't recall having trouble nominating in the 'poems about life' before but...today I have tried three times to nominate the same poem and the site won't let me...anyone know why?

I just realised I nominated Rabea's poem last week, without a problem and, it was posted in the 'life' category....weird

There are 5 life poems currently nominated, but that could have been from late last week.

Hmm my guess is that you probably nominated a poem that has already been nominated. So the poem when you nominated it, doesn't appear at the top of the nominatin list. However, if you scroll down, you might see it somewhere in the list.

Yes...you are right Luce...the poem had already been nominated (by you actually haha) and now that I have scrolled down the list I can see that my nomination was approved but...I got confused because when I go back to the poem the weekly nomination vote is still there...shouldn't that disappear when I nominate?

Technically, it should disappear. ( at least that's what I would think it should do but it doesn't) however, if you click again on that button. It will prompt you that you had already voted for tht poem. So you should still have two votes left.

Edit again : two or one vote left depending on how many poems you have nominated.

Edit: it's like if you go to your own poem, the vote button for the nominations should appear there. However, even if you click on it, I think, I'm not sure, but it should not allow you to vote for your own poem.

That's weird and just something I hadn't noticed before. I checked out your theory on Britt's winner this week (one of my nominations) and I see the option to vote on it has gone, (because I already have voted) but...the nomination vote is still there although when I try to nominate it tells me I already have and...then it comes back again lol!!! something for Janis to fix....sometimes?

Definitely, I think that's something to fix. Nothing major but it doesn't hurt fixing it. I hope he finds time to fix the glitches in the love and friendship category though.

Hellon it may have disappeared because it promoted to winner.

Janis does have a running updated list...now let's hope for a Christmas miracle that he does it :)
