Here is a challenge

Take the lyrics from an existing song from You tube and using the first four verses rewrite the lyrics in the form of a poem of your own on a completely different theme.

So if for example you took something like
Morning has broken

Existing Lyrics are:

Morning has broken
Like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken
Like the first bird

Praise for the singing
Praise for the morning
Praise for them springing
Fresh from the world

Sweet, the rain's new fall
Sunlit from heaven
Like the first dew fall
On the first grass

Praise for the sweetness
Of the wet garden
Sprung in completeness
Where His feet pass

Work out how many rows, syllables and where
the end words rhyme (if they do) this will form the template of your challenge

With our example of Morning has broken
every 1st and 3rd row last word rhyme
and the first 3 lines have 5 syllables and the
4th line only 4

Marital Discord
(sung to the tune of Morning has broken)

Molly is shouting
husband has done wrong
rage she is flouting
at every word

Husbands betrayed her
with Molly Fisher
blamed it on liquor
its all a lie

She saw them kissing
embroiled in a hug
now she is hissing
for a divorce

Tempers get too frayed
she reveals bread knife
husbands been outplayed
now ends his life
