Q4: I had a dream last night. It was all about my boyfriend. His birthday is in two weeks, and I've been planning with his friends to surprise him, and I'm really stressed about it that I had a dream he didn't like the surprise or the gifts I bought for him and left me. Opps.

Q5: Well, yes! You might not believe it, but I had TOO many precognitive dreams to count. Sometimes specific details like numbers actually happen the day after the dream. I don't know why this sometimes happens or how such dreams could be scientifically explained, but I'm so enthralled by the mystery of dreams and by the idea that the unconscious mind could let us predict the future through dreams. Hope last nights dream wasn't one of them, though.

Q6: Sure, I'd marry my boyfriend and have his children. After I get my masters and pursue a respectable career.

Q7: Um. "Are you a dog person?" and "Do you believe in gender equality?"

Anywhere could be a battlefield in Syria anytime. The suburbs of Lattakia, the city I live in, was attacked by ISIS three years ago and the residents didn't have the time to run away. Nobody knows what is happening now. My ex is a soldier (I'm still in contact with him) and he told me that he doesn't know who is fighting who anymore, that almost every region ISIS could occupy was actually SOLD to them. It's crazy. Noone is safe.

Yeah, my sister lives in Latakia too. She's studying electrical engineering, and hopefully graduating next year. :)

I know you're a dog person and you believe in gender equality, otherwise I would use these as my next questions for you :)

Question #8: Describe yourself as well as you can in five short sentences. Do you think how you see yourself is how others see you? How do you think others see you differently than how you see yourself?
Question #9: You mentioned that you have had dreams that predicted the future, like numbers for instance. What are some specific examples? Do you think some people have untapped power in their minds, or some sort of strong intuition like a sixth sense?
Question #10: Do you believe in extraterrestrial life?

Q8: I'm very shy and awkward and kinda antisocial in real life. I have like just three friends whom I can be comfortable with. I'm a feminist. I'm financially independent. I'm a good listener...I guess.
People who later became my friends always tell me that at first, I seemed arrogant because I didn't talk much, and I never initiated any conversation with them. But that's because I get nervous and self-conscious around people I meet for the first time.

Q9: I once had a dream that I was in a cemetry, I saw the dream like three times in four days. Two days later or so, my cousin passed away. Another one, I saw in my dream that I won the lottery, 87$ in specific. Next day I got 87/100 on a test... etc. It happened so many times. When I was living in Damascus, I had a dream that my old school got bombed and woke up at 4:00 am breathing heavily and sweating. At 9:00 am a building RIGHT NEXT to my old school got bombed, and the school was pretty damaged too. So creepy.
I'm not sure what it is. But it's definitely not a coincidence.
Yeah, I believe we all have a sixth sense, some more than others maybe.

Q10: Yes, there could be intelligent life somewhere far away from Earth. Used to deny it, but the Drake equation changed my mind.

I thought there was still time in this! Lol

I have a few bearded dragons, water dragon, couple of snakes and geckos. And a tarantula! They're probably one of the most fascinating animals i have!

I'd probably pick sight, too! For the same reasons, although I would miss listening to music, I don't think I could be without my sight.

Omg, I LOVE tarantulas and snakes. Wish I could have one as a pet, but I don't think my boyfriend would ever let me haha.

I like tarantulas and snakes too!! I'm scared of most spiders, but for some reason I find tarantulas adorable. It's probably because they're fluffy :)

"People who later became my friends always tell me that at first, I seemed arrogant because I didn't talk much, and I never initiated any conversation with them. But that's because I get nervous and self-conscious around people I meet for the first time."

I find that sometimes people can assume a person is arrogant when they think that person *should* be arrogant because they are talented, intelligent, and/or beautiful. People probably realize these traits about you immediately and so when you are quiet, they make the wrong assumption. But then once they realize the truth behind your quietness and see how self aware and humble you are, they like you twice as much! <3

Noura, thank you so much for participating as PotF and giving such thoughtful answers. You were a great sport! I hope you enjoyed your time in the spotlight.

Come on Noura now, don’t be stranger after this or disappear on us again. We all need you here. Need your presence your participation, your poetry, your knowledge and your beautiful face (if I may say so and not get pouched by your boyfriend)

Now that the spotlight is over and is on someone else ( another good friend) There is an opportunity to clarify this if you indulge me.

Noura said: “It would be really hard for me to be unable to hear or touch things, but it's waaay easier than losing my sight.”

This is a common mistake dear Noura. Without the sight one still could live but without touch, no one could survive. If you can’t touch you could hardly hold anything in your hands and that is only small fraction of it. The common perception is that touching is only on the tip of fingers, because the senses, there, are keener than other places. But sensing is all over body, not having that ability, you could walk through objects and obstacles without even feeling a thing. One could die without even sensing it. Ones head could hit the framework of a door and he would still be going until he drops, or bleeds eventually to death.
If even our eyes be in 20 places at once, watching us in 20 different angles, not hurting or bumping ourselves into objects, still what about blind spots: top of the head, sole of the feet, the edges of body and obviously the back??
And all these, assuming that we would have, the ability to move, because imagine how are we going to manage walking, lifting one foot at the time? okay assuming we could, do so, now, how do we know when our feet has hit the ground when we attempt to put them down? (remember we can not sense anything.) O yes about lifting the foot: how are we going to mange that?
All these said are just the tip of iceberg. Without sensing we all feel like floating object in the air; but it would be only feeling because the gravity applies to us, only we could not feel the resistance of the solid objects that would be crushing us. Without the ability of sensing we are paralyzed; we can not talk, eat or even move our eyes.
So dear Noura are you still sure about your choice?

Yeah I'd still pick my sight. I'm aware that it's not just the fingertips that could sense. Losing this sense would be hard but won't paralyze you. It's the muscles that let you walk, talk or move your eyes and legs. Being unable to feel the touch of anything is easier than being unable to see, for me. Losing my sight is one of my worst nightmares. Maybe because I wear glasses, and it's hard for me to see clearly without them, that I know how awful it feels. :)

Thank you dear Noura I appreciate that.

You said: "Losing this sense would be hard but won't paralyze you. It's the muscles that let you walk, talk or move your eyes and legs"

How so? how do muscles manage that, without sensing? Muscles without nerve system( sensing) are nothing but mass of useless flesh. That is why when man's spinal cord damages we become paralyzed, even though our muscles are still intact and undamaged.
Now one might argue: what spinal cord has to do with sensing? And the answer would be everything! Spinal cord and brain manage all of the muscles through the senses, except those muscles that work involuntarily like heart ... which still function after being paralyzed.

Haha I am scientifically trying to convince you otherwise I respect whatever you choose. Sight is really really important I agree.
