on my poem. "the four walls"

before i read this poem one word of advice: dont make such long sentences, just break them up to create more lines. it will look more appealing and readers will not be tempted to press the back button just because it looks really long, let me read it now. well i really like the words you used but this poem doesnt have very good rhythem. try to have the same number of sylables per each rhyme scheme. also try to have the same rhyme scheme throughout the poem , first paragraph had all words rhyming then it went to abab , its not too big of a deal but serious poets for some reason take offence to it. all in all very good poem. it will be a great poem if you just follow my advice

you have no idea what you're talking about. it doesn't matter how long the sentences are... most of them have 8-14 syllables. which is not that much. sonnets have 10. and i do have the same rhyme scheme through the whole poem until the very end. i respect your advice but i don't think you really know what you are talking about.
