my opinion: i think that some type of "bird dinosaur" dropped the egg and it didnt hatch for years and it was a different species of animal when it did.

If the chicken evolved from other stuff as you suggest, Matt, then the egg must have come first.

'Loads of other stuff' from the avarian species all lay eggs. Name me one bird or bird like creature that doesn't or didn't.

Tamar, if you are a creationist then you believe the chicken came firast because God made it.

the bird like creatures must have evolved from non-bird like creatures (obvioulsy taking the theory of evolution here) that did not lay eggs. Eventually getting to bacteria which do not lay eggs.

But we are discussing whether chickens came first or eggs.. not protozoic life.

a creature that was almost a chicken laid an egg, and out of this, dou to changes in the enviroment, and evolution, what hached was a real chicken.
