Any Jehovah Witnesses in here???

I just met a girl today who emailed me, she was a witness i was so excited to meet another witness online. I just wanted to know if and how many more jehovah witnesses there are on here. we should all get together and just chat Sometime.

Ah the Jehovahs....weird...did you guys know that in the Jehovah community, something isn't a crime unless 3 adults witness it?...even child abuse!

Thats all i need to know about those guys....they can stuff their 144,000.

About the community thing that is not true, and if it is there then they should not call themselves jehovah witnesses because their not if they one; isolate themselves in a community and two; if they don't consider anything anyone has to say (even child abuse) then they are not following by gods standards and therefor are not jehovah witnesses even if they claim they are.

I'm a Christian, but I disagree with Jehova's Witnesses.

144,000 is a figurative number.

Here is a beakdown of figurative numbers:

12 tribes of Canaan
12 Sons of Joseph (I think)

3 is the number used for emphasis ("Holy, Holy, Holy...")

10 is the number of completion.

12 (tribes) x 12 (sons) x [10 (completion) x 10 x 10] (emphasis) = 144,000

There aren't really going to be JUST 144,000 people saved.

KKK knows better, and I give little or no credit to media influence, I was being a bit sarcastic, and perhaps I shouldnt have been so short without explination.

Jehovahs Witness, Fundamentalist Christian, Buddhist, whathaveyou, pretty much everyone here knows my stance on religion in general. I have no idea if he molested the children or not, I wasnt in the room, but what I do know is that he is innocent until proven guilty and I DO believe that his strict religious rules did have a lot to do with his difficulty to adjust to the world that he was raised in.

He is still a child mentally, I understand that. A very odd child.

Anyone stupid enough to come to MY door to sell me a religion I have no interest in is asking for insults, or at least a door slammed in their face.

That said I have no stronger feelings towards Jehova's witnesses than any other religion. The door slamming goes for all of you out there trying to convert me. Beware.

Isn't it the JWs who refuse blood transfusions for themselves and their families? In the words of Bono: 'In the name of love - what more in the name of love'. You know what? I agree with old Freud (Sigmund) when he said that religion ought not to be taught in schools as it often results in neurosis. I say don't teach it in schools (world wide) to stop the growth of fanatics. Look at Ireland. look at 9/11.
