Matt's Petition

Alright everybody. This is a petition to get Matt to come back, the Matt we all know and love, laugh at and miss, now that he's officially been gone like a week. I dont want anybody to come on here and say "if he wants to leave, let him," that crap is unacceptable, because I want him to come back, so anyone that thinks that can shove it ;).

Leave him a little message or just sign the petition, but I will reach my goal undeterred. Matt needs to come back.

Update on the Matt situation: He saw the petition but still wasnt convinced. He has other things going on in his life but now that he knows we all want him to come back he feels wanted and needed, and I told him it was making us sad :*(, so I'm operating off guilt, haha.

Keep the petition going and he'll be back sometime soon.... I hope :).

Ok, yes, we will all miss Matt terribly, and although I would be tickled if he returned, I'm not going to support this petition. Matt left to reconnect spiritually and felt that the site was taking up too much of his time. I support his decision to leave the site in order to be truly happy. I will miss him tons and tons, but I'd rather him be happy than obligated. He's a brilliant soul, but someone like that has to be able to run his own course. He'll come back if God's will allows it.

This makes me want to puke my guts up....and if Mathew were here, he'd be moking you all right now.

He knew the rules, and he knew he was being rude. There are those in here who give honest advice and who take no nonsense like he did, but don't offend everybody in the process...people like Bob Shank....so he deserved to be banned...and much as i found him stimulating, speaking as a mod who had to endure all the complaints about his comments..i don't want him to come back...ever.

He wasn't that good a writer or wit that the annoyance he caused so many can be balanced out by the occasional lesson someone might have learned from him. There are other, better ways to teach people than ridicule.

shenarkin: shut up. I could see why this would be an annoying post in the first place, I just didn't expect kevin, the once entertaining, to be so uptight about it.

Kevin, you are a freaking idiot. Matt was a remarkable writer and person. Go be wrong about things somewhere else.

Lu, I know we have lost our JB, and although we shall miss him tons and tons, he'll come back if he needs to. He's on a mission for himself, and we should respect that. Matt will be missed but never forgotten, and he knows that.

Back on topic, people. We want Matt back. He knows about the petition because I told him about it and he knows we miss him, I'm sure he'll come back soon. He just needs to spend time on other things. I still think it's nice to make him feel loved and wanted :)

Dont feel bad, NK, no one would start a petition for me either. Perhaps a "good ridance" thread, but that's about it.

That's why Matt should feel so loved and honored that we miss him so.

If you're not in support of the petition DONT post here. Jesus, just when I thought people could read I find I'm mistaken.

I understand it's his life and that if he wants to leave we should let him. I've been talking to him ever since he left, I know why he left and I support that, but it's nice to make him feel loved and wanted and welcome back any time he wants. It's just that peer pressure works wonders, haha *evil.
