can someone explain to me why the price of petrol is still so ridiculously expensive when we've more or less nicked the world's oil supply from other countries.

How much do you pay in your country/state? I'd be really, really interested to know because we're getting fucking ripped off in England at 86pence a litre.

We pay about $1.30 per litre in NOrway...Don't complain, man..

But we are the RICHEST country in the world...

    and it really sucks

Whoa $1.30 it gets like that around Australian country towns where the extra charge relates to frieght.

In Canberra I was filling up for $1.15 - $1.25

Today in Melboure I filled up for $0.96 I love the big smoke :o)

It is about $2-2.35 dollars in New York...If you are lucky you will find it $1.80...But omg to fill up my famiy's mini van is $60 a week.

And the prices are raising so much...I know. I guess it is because there is now a greater demand...And you better believe the OPEC makes mega millions from America's business.

If I hear one more American complaining about their petrol prices, I'm gonna rip my foot off.

I live in the richest country in the world, and we pay over a dollar per litre...
