any1 here a cutter

just curious because ive never been a cutter or anything and dont know anyone that is....but like when u cut, is there some kind of pleasure or good feeling that u get from it?? or what is it that keeps u cutting?? just wondering cause i have no idea...

i think everyone here is a cutter...except me, but i used to be.

The 'pleasure' gained from cutting is one of few things;

- A sense you are in control
- You're inflicting pain on yourself, to punish yourself for some action you taken, something you've done, for being 'worthless' and all the usual bollocks.
- It becomes a nice sensation to feel pain

It's bizzare how it's spread, alot of teenagers use it for a attention mechanism (Which isn't a 'bad' thing, just pathetic society is geared up as it is for teens to have to resort to cutting)

Some do it because they actually feel so bad, and use that to cope.

Some do it to fit into a group of people who do it too, there's a trend here in britain of people who all like to have a story to tell, some depressive story which isn't really that bad but they blow it our of proportion and then 'cut' when really they're hardly doing anything at all (which is a good thing aswell)

Myself?

I do it when i'm so angry at myself, so pissed off with myself that i've let things turn out the way they have, I do that to control myself.....it's either that or i end up hurting the next person to piss me off a bit to much, or end up being bitchy to people close to me etc.

The main point is.

JUST FUCKING DON'T DO IT.

It's a pointless, futile act by pathetic people who just don't realise there are better ways to fucking cope, it IS pathetric, it IS stupid, and it is POINTLESS.

Please for gods sake realise that anybody who reads this.
