OK now what the fuck is up with all the gay ass posers in da fuckin world? Ok I'm fuckin hardcore punk and at school and other shity places like that i'm seeing kids trying to be preps(don't know why preps need to burn in hell!) scaterzz and punx!! It's really starting to piss me off!! WE got gay ass people walking around with the clothes that they think us punx wear and givin us a bad name!! It's not the fucking clothes that make you punk! ANd just because some of you have a scateboard doesn't mean yur a scater!! ANd i won't even start with preps!! And if you don't know if yur a scater or a punk that's because yur not!! People who are punks are born punks like me i'm born a punk you don't just turn into a punk!! same with scaterzz its not in the board!!

no one is who they actually are. Your born a person un-influenced by anything, and actual individual, but then over time your morfed by other people ideas on whats right or wrong, and they become your own, it's kind of sad really.

i agree, but the point i was trying to make was that people can dress how they want because it is one of the factors that makes them who they are. they shouldnt get put down because they dress in black but arent actual "goths"... they dress that way because it makes them comfortable. yeah i have some hurley shirts, but im not a skater at all. i admit it... i cant even stand on a skateboard, but i think that clothing is comfortable. thats just one reason why i think people shouldnt be called posers. let them dress how they want.

If you say your a punk you arn't one then! My town is full of punk and also full of "punks" The true punks are the ones who don't want a label, do what they want, Don't listen to what others say and just don't care what others think. Cloths don't make up the punk or thier hair its thier attitude towards everything! If someone labels themselves as a punk as you did then if just proves you arn't and all you want is a to be recanized and stand out so people notice you! If you were a true punk you wouldn't have typed what you did.

After reading the 1st few posts on this i just wanna say Jenny if you call yourself a punk then you not one. I know a lot of punks at school and that i work with who call them selves "punks" because they think its kool. But the true punk you call them a punk and they will totally disagree with you. "Punk" is a state of not being labled so in this case you are labeling yourself as a punk so you truely arn't. And as for the scaters if they own a scateboard and ride it then yeah i'd consider them scaters even if they can't do tricks or anything. Just my thoughts!

In my grade, we kind of have groups. We have like the jocks, preps, punks, nerds, excentrics, etc.
It is different though, becuase we used to have defined groups, but now everyone mingles together and people aren't really labeled. My friends and the other kids in my grade never really judged people on those "groups", we all usually used them as a reference. We use that because we have no other way of refering to the group of friends as a whole. Very rarely are people judged on that in our grade, those labels or groups mean almost nothing to us. However, I agree with a lot of you and what you have to say.

i dont think people should really say what they are or put themselves in a catagory, it does sometimes agravate me when someone says their something and turn out to be another, but thats just the way they are.. if you say your punk.. normally it doesnt turn out to be true, but who am i to judge
