i dont want to start arguments, this is simply a question i have.

i know that christians who are nondinominational believe that everyone else will go to hell, because i've talked with many of my friends who are nondimoninational christians and i've been to their church many times, but do all christians believe that?

Nope. Everyone has their own beliefs. I mean yes, christianity is one religion. Jesus died on the cross to save our sins. and all that. you know the story. Its just ask anyone their beliefs... their all different. I dont believe non-christians will go to hell. i just believe that they will have whats going to come to them... "Karma"

    Its really hard to explain.

But Karma is in like almost every religion. So therefore... Its going to come back to you from what you put out.

Live a good honest life and everything will be just fine when it comes to judgement. It's not what you believe it's how you use it. That's my take on it anyway.

oh, i know what i believe...that its your actions and the way you live your life, the good things you do that determine your judgement.

i was just asking about the christian religion(s)
    but thanks anyway :)

I attend a non-denominational church & we believe in heaven & hell, but we don't think everyone who doesn't believe the same as us is going to hell. Is that what you mean? We believe what Romans 10:9-10 says...
If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
But we believe you must also have love for people as well. Love God & love people.. you can't go wrong. By love I mean following the commandments God gave us. We believe you won't get into heaven by just being a good person, but you must do what Romans 10 says.
We also believe in speaking in tongues, but we don't believe if you don't speak in tongues you will go to hell. We just think you are missing out on a very wonderful gift God gave us.

    As stated in the Bible:

"No one comes unto the Father, but by Me." (spoken by Jesus Christ)

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in Heaven. Many will say on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophecy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perfrom many miracles?' And then I will decalre to them, 'I never knew you; Depart from me you who have practiced lawlessness."

    Matthew 6:21-23

    That's what I believe.

Yes, I am a Christian - Baptist to be exact. And, yes, I do believe that those who do not receive Christ as their Savior will go to Hell. (No matter what "religion" you are)

No, it is not our place to judge, but it is our place to tell what we believe.

No, we cannot and should not try to force our belief on others, but by all means we are commanded to tell.

Look at it this way. If you have some disease, I'm not judging that you have the disease, the doctor did that. But if I have the cure, wouldn't you want me to tell you? And then still, even though I tell you I have the cure, I can't force you to take it.

The problem with the matter of salvation is that so many people don't think they are "sick". And it is all a matter of faith. No matter what you believe.

Yes I agree But I would also tell those who think I am trying to force my belief on them that Christ as a member of the Holy Trinity is a mystery that I am not expected to fully understand There are many people that recieved Christ as the spirit of God or the HOLY SPIRIT before anyone wrote the new TESTAMENT I believe in RELIGIOUS TOLERENCE. But I do admire your convictions

    Ann Marie: Amen!

In Old Testament times, salvation was based on faith in the coming of Jesus Christ to die for our sins. I also think that there was some sacrificial things that played a part in it, as well.

Why do you suppose Jesus asked the Father to forgive the Jews that sacrificed Him if they knew what they were doing?
