I've been going to this website for the past 3 years. There are many great writers on here, but lately I've been getting comments on my poems from critics not really interested in my poems, but just trying to degrade me. I think that this website should do more to make sure that people cant say things like "you're a whore or you should be in a mental hospital." I tried to get a complaint to the board but realized that the girl who had written these nasty messages had made up a new screen name just so she couldn't get caught. I feel this is rude and extremely wrong of this girl to do. Do you have any suggestions so I can get this girl to stop?

We all have our share of pests on this site, trust me...you just gotta let things go, ignore the rude comments, and focus on the constructive opinions to better improve your poetry. Listening to these people is only going to upset you, so just blow it off I guess.

I'm sorry about the girl though...she sounds like a hag if she went through all that trouble just to insult you, she sounds derranged and mentally pathetic.

Her screen name or what ever is Marissa, but I can't remember what her friends was. You know the girl that wrote "Think Twice"? That's her.

yeah. well one of her friends *Samantha Jessica* or something like that commented on one of my poems saying i was worthless. and i asked her what was up with that. and she said "u kno its true, u cuss way too much. u need a life". and I wrote back saying "you don't kno shit about me, u need to stop being so childish and grow up". Well then she writes back and says "ill grow up when u do!! and at least i wasnt raped or abandoned by my mother!! sorry i have a family that loves me". Noni, who in their right mind would critisize or make fun of someone who was raped? It's definitely on of Marissa's friends. Well I'm really sick of this and I think I'm gonna leave the site...after 3 years. I have too much troubles to deal with this. This site used to be a place for pleasure. A place I could write all my poems down and let everyone out there know a little more about me and read my poems. Well know its just giving me stress and theres no more fun about it. This has gotten out of hand and it's actually hurting my feelings. No one should be so cruel for no reason. So I guess ill be outta here in a few days. Thanks for your support you guys.

i don't really care what people say about anything about me, i don't give a f(beep), cuz what do they know? if they think they're good, there's always people who are better than them. peace out!

Now they're saying that I "messed with the wrong people". I'm sick of these comments on my poems and it seems that the board isn't doing anything about it. Is there anything else I can do to get them to go away. I've tried ignoring them, but it still wont work. any suggestions?
Does anyone know how to get ahold of the board about this?
