London bombings part 2

Just caught the news and seen images of a terrified London, yet again.

So much for the Muslim leaders' pleas of peace, eh?

These (edited out) people want to be classed as British when they come to live here. They want the passport, the benefits, the handouts etc etc etc. Which(edited out) bit is it they don't like, to want to blow 'there own' (British people) to smithereens? Someone explain this to me. If they have a gripe we live in a democracy and they can/should air their views like the rest of us.

But no. They are choosing the instinct and nature of the sewer rat. The instinct to clamour together and ultimately feed off their own with surprise attacks. (edited out) cowards!!!

Have you created another post purely because your narrow minded views got slated in the last post?? You represent the narrow minded masses of this country. I wake up everyday thanking the lord im not a media spoon-fed (edited out) like yourself.

Having visited some of the so called "terrorist- housing" countries I can value their views as much as my own. If we (edited out) them over and try and bring western culture to them, of course a minority are going to fight back. We are such a naive nation, i'm sometimes ashamed to be grouped with the western world. We don't liberate these people we dictate. Showing them the way we think they should live their lives. Still if we bomb and kill people in Iraq i guess its for a good cause. Right??

    Pathetic.

    Wake up

I really am angry about this. So far, our enemies have shown nothing honorable on any acts in the war. I'm not being racist, please don't think that. I respect the people of their country, just not some of the people, who can do things like bomb Britain. I think around 4,000 people died in our own terror attacks, which is really sad because they were all innocent. Britain is our ally in the war, and they're suffering for it. I didn't mean the people have done nothing honorable. I have no business discussing who they are and what they do when I haven't spent a day in their country. Still, I don't think its right that some people, such as people of Britain and America, suffer everyday worrying if their may be an attack or a bombing. Every holiday may be ruined by a bomb.

Just an opinion, my point of view

I say religion is scrapped. This is the root of all problems. Whatever goes wrong, you can guarunteed always trace it back to religion. I still can't believe people like this are being let into the country at such a time. Blair should realise what a hazard this is, and come to terms with the fact that, instead of being ignorant and stating it will cause arguements within prejudism etc, that he is putting the country in danger.

"It's the Politically Correct (edited out) like you who are causing so much mess in this country. Jeeeeesus!!"

    good one

These people (the suicide bombers) simply want revenge, just like you Mel.

This bombings this is getting ridiculous. The government need to stand up for what it right, i was watching BBC Breakfast this morning, and they had done a poll with British Muslims. 2% of them agreed with the Bombings! Although it's only a small percentage, in figure terms, it's quite a large number... Isn't it worrying that the government is now scared to throw out people who quite obviously do not want what is best for this country?

I air my views here and with firnnds - not with a home made bomb on a packed transport system!

How can any of you out there sympathise with these people. If they had nuclear weopons they would use them. Period,

Without getting to involved in a playgroud slanging match................

Mel, grow some testicles and realise you're wrong. You have no idea what your on about. It's got nothing to do with being politically correct, more having first hand knowledge, which you clearly do'n't. Half your age; it must be embarassing to be looked down upon. Look forward to your next awesome post.............

Watch the language guys, i've already dished out one penalty, i don't want to give out more.

This is a heavy topic, and i don't expect it to run smoothly as passions flare. JUST DON'T SWEAR AT EACH OTHER!

There has been enough anger over this topic as it is.

Mel, you can't insult a whole religion of people who live in this country just because a small minority of them has attacked a few people. I'd never insult prostetant christians because of what the IRA have done in the past...and i wouldn't verbally attack a roman catholic because they crucified some poor dude called Jesus.

Get a grip, and get angry at the right people...namely the governments who have made this happen through years of power mongering.

How strange, kevin. How strange that you and many thought that I was insulting a 'whole religion of people'. I was spitting my anger (Verbally) at the terrorists and the potential terrorists. Not once did I mention the whole body of people who make up that religion. Language is a strange thing isn't it, my friend? We see in it what we will. We have to 'pussyfoot' around with the semantics in this green and pleasant land in ways not to offend anyone- whilst the kids go on a rampage, drugs rip our minds to shreds and terrorists blow holes with remote controls. Consequently, If I/we say anything that whiffs of 'extremism' in a time of extreme provocation (which I maintain I didn't) then I'm hushed up by the media and any other powers that be - meanwhile attacks of barbaric racism are being caried out not with words but with the bombs. In response to this, I guess I'm not
allowed to point the finger at the attackers, am I? It's not PC to be angry.

So, Ok, then, you win. I'll just pray, and turn off the TV and make everything go away. I'm gonna, as you suggest, blame Blair and Bush and accept my fate. I'll write a little letter to my local MP and carry on going to church, or at least start, and ask for forgiveness for those who have sinned against us - whoops, can I say or imply that it was a 'sin'?. Leave that one with me. I'll straighten it out. There, Kevin, I'm cured. From now on my words will be poetic; literary; a pleaure to read.

Thanks for showing me the errors of my ways by cencoring my silly angry knee jerk response.

How many chances do I have left, now?

In previous posts you've mentioned enitre religions in the one bracket, without any justification.

This wasn't just an attack, it was response. A response provoked by us in the Western worlds. Why can't we just accept it. These people are willing to die to get revenge; pretty sure theyre not doing it for the hell of it. Theres a reason.

what reason..... to kill the innocent ppl who have nothing to do with it?

The london bombs are gonna keep going until every transport facility in London is destroyed. that way people wont go to london, they wont go to work, and london will become imobile very quickley. Englands (my) capital will be seen as somewhere nobody wants to go because they are too scared. thats what alkieda (sp?) wants.

  • Emily

If London is completely immobilized, how are the going to support the U.S. in the war? They are our allies, one of the few countries that stand by us, after 9-11. Other countries don't want to get involved. Its a way to attack the U.S. I think thats what they're thinking. They want to take out our allies.

Just an opinion, don't be offended.

I will say that to think there should be rules in war is insane, to think that war is fair, is utterly ridiculous,

I totally agree. Rules create peace. There is no peace in war. War is a dirty game, moral free, and unfair. Lots of things in war is unfair, number of men and weapons, type of weapons, but these are the things that make you win. The war is dirty, and no matter how much we say the bombings were wrong, its not going to change.

Bob brings up a good point....but still..

I think if they were wise enough, they'd take out the people in power instead of the innocent civilians. I understand that every war has casualties, but if the whole purpose of the war was to get something done, do what you can to the people who have control.

How many people did we kill to get to Saddam? It's going full circle and we're paying the price; of a war we voted against in the first place.

  • Mel

Don't get so angry, you people.

Let us stop and pray for a while. Let us pray for the misguided bombers and their grieving families and friends.

Forgive them, for they know not what they do.

Heads up for Kev: The IRA are Catholic, not protestant. The UVF UFF and other pro-Brit groups are protestant. Look out for a major announcement by the IRA today or tomorrow (if it hasn't already been announced).

As for Immigration, deportation and so on: Black, white, rich or poor and arsehole's an arsehole.

We should go through the entire population, weed out the arseholes who use violence for attention and hang them. Beat them with their own game.

I'm all for giving suicide bombers the right to blow themselves up. I'll give each one a bomb then drop him off in the middle of the English Channel in a dinghy so he can die in his own chosen way in pieces (Or is that peace?).

I have a couple of Muslim friends (admittedly only three), they're appauled with the situation but they're looking within their own community with suspicious eyes as well. All anyone has to do here to stop the Muslim community taking the brunt of accusation is point us in the direction of a non-Islamic suicide bomber.

You can wear blinkers, cover your ears and say it ain't so but that won't change one thing one little bit.
