It doesn't matter what they look like. I know people who have everything and cut, I know people who wear all black and dark colours and cut, and myself, I'm one of the ordinary people not rich but well off, not perfect but ok and I used to cut so it doesn't matter. It's how they feel on the inside - not on the outside.

Does self-harm actually pick you by what kind of clothes you wear? Anybody can self-harm.

i think any one can be a cutter. i think it is the way you look at it.
i wear all black and red and cut but not everyone who wears the dark clothing cuts.

That is such a stereotype! I wear a lot of black. In fact, here's what I'm wearing now:
Black T-shirt
Black Avirex Flight Club button down shirt
Baggy black Tripp NY brand zip-off jeans
Black combat boots
Black lace up Tripp NY arm socks
Black pyramid stud belt
Several chokers, necklaces and bracelets
Purple ear cuff
Black dragon tattoo on my back
I am goth and proud of it! But that doesn't mean I'm a cutter. I'm not the happiest person in the world, but I wouldn't go as far as to start cutting, cause I think that's just stupid... I knew two cutters in high school. They were both "preppy" girls. It's not just us who do the "freaky" stuff and play the "woe is me" card. So you guys can cut the labeling.

I'm not goth and I used to cut. My friend cuts and she is a cheerleader, wheres pink, rich, and pretty much looks perfect. And there are goths out there that do look perfect. Just becuase you dress in dark cloths, doesn't mean you can't look perfect....

It doesn't matter wut u look like...u could be the richest person around with a loving family who gets u everythin and luvz u, yet u STILL cut. OR u could have nothin and cut. It all depends on how u feel. Some ppl who have luv and everythin cut cuz they feel worthless, like this life isn't for them, or there living sum1 elses.

It true that u could have hundreds of friends who think they know u inside and out becuz thats how u act, but they never REALLY know the real u.

Like me, i have many best friends who think they know me inside and out because i always laugh and smile....but i do that for them, inside i'm just...sad. I don't know y though i have family and stuff but i just feel like my heart is made of stone sumtimes, like i'm not caplable of gettin too clse to anyone. I can act clase to ppl but never actually am. It complicated.

Ne wayz got a little of track there, as i was sayin, me i have an example of the "perfect, happy, cheey girl" who will never cut herself.....BS! i have wanted to many many times....though everytime i come close to i just...can't....

You could be dressed in all balck and cut or like me....u could dress black or wear any Friggin color and cut...or want to.

It doesn't matter wut u wear or look like, it all matters wuts in ur heart and wut u feel. Many ppl think that just cuz ppl dress in black they have issues and cut, but there wrong. I dress in black alot just cuz i like to, and so do my friends.

...well ne wayz...to this appearances issue thingy...i have a poem that i will put up in a few days (too lazy to right now lolz) about appearances and that u should judge ppl by wut they wear....
