Hmm....my hypothesis is that according to the intake of caffeine held within the carbonated bevarage and also with the sodium absorption is that dehydration is offering my demise in the widely spread heatwave in eastern Georgia and...

    My conclusion: It's BOTH!!!!!! :P

Coke!!! Pepsi has a strange taste to it - like it doesn't have enough sugar in it. So it's Coke all the way from me :D

    Here's my in-depth theological answer:

    Pepsi tastes like dirt...
Coke tastes like dirt, with some added sugar.

    Neither.

    Bob Shank:

Did I make it that obvious?

But, hey, Coke and Pepsi will always placate the masses........and so let coke be the drink of love and play on.

I must say I do perfer Coke. In fact near where I live they sell 5 cans of Pepsi for a pound! It never ever happens with Coke always with Pepsi. It might be out of date, though. I must check. How much is a can of Coke in the states? One can here, on average, 55 pence.

In U.S. supermarkets a 6-pack of Coke or Pepsi averages about $2 or £1.15 if I did the math right.

Your VAT may account for some of the price difference. Prices in the U.S. are always quoted in the amout before any taxes are added and sales taxes can vary depending on the location. 7% might be a rough average.

£1:15 for a six pack of Coke!!! Jeeeesus, we import all the wrong things from the States. I won't make a list. I'm a new man. So I guess that you get cheap Coke and we get a wonderful Health service. That's fair, I guess.

Im off for a cold Pepsi.

Yep, I guess it's relative. In fact my Grandfather once owned a grandfather clock - that's when I realized that time was relative, also

    Natalie:

I'm over the moon that you're 'faithful to your Coke'. But please never ever discriminate. Like the others just as much, if you can. There's too much prejudice in this world. To love Coke is to know the flavour of Pepsi.

"Wow Mel, it is so intresting and probing that the answer should be left not to us mere mortals.

    The answer is Both..."

So funny and self refuting I nearly fell off my chair.

Personally I prefer which ever costs less at the time. Pespi is a little sweeter but Coke is the staple, the big brother and choice of the right wingers. Guess that's why I buy Coke most of the time.

But I never buy full coke, it's always diet. not because I'm on a diet, but because I think it tastes better. Full Coke can get sickly sweet very quickly. I guess the same goes for Pepsi too.

  • Mel

Shit, Bret. You've gone and taken this thread into a dimension I hadn't even considered: the 'diet' varieties!

Now there's 4 to choose from and my brain's on overload.

    Will get back to this......

  • Natalie84

I drank pepsi growing up as that's my mom's drink. It's her coffee. When I was old enough to pick out my own soda I started drinking mountain dew and then dr. pepper and now coke. All coke products. I love pepsi and will drink pepsi when coke is not available....but I do like coke a little better.
