Have you ever met someone

I'm an extremely cautious and untrusting person so i know what you mean. You constantly just prepare yourself for something to go wrong in a seemingly good position and in your preparation you are ultimately the one who dissolves the situation.
I hope i will someday find that peace to just let it go...

Yesh i have that feeling everyday... So much bad stuff happens that when I finally get something good... i dont want to believe in it and get used to it, in case it gets snatched away.

Well yeah I have too Bob, its almost surreal. But like yourself I learnt we all deserve a slice of happiness and I just love and enjoy every moment with him I can :o)

Ive been there quite a lot and usually I deny myself the ray of happiness for reasons that baffle me. For example, I'll 'pick holes' in a good relationship and move it towards end-game long before the other party gets the chance to do it to me.

Enter pychotherapist and tells me to sit down and discuss my mother. Sad but true

yeah, I do that too. I would purposefully only date losers because I didn't think I could do any better. Jason changed my mind. God I miss him.
