Jim Jeffries

Anyone got any info on him?
He was the world heavyweight boxing champ in the late 1800's early 1900's. I am really trying to find some film footage on him, or anything else of interest.

Thanks Nikki. I have that bookmarked already. Jim Jeffries is my great grandfather, but I can't find hardly any film of him fighting. So far I have only found a 6 minute clip of him fighting Sharkey( Ebay) I do have a lot of pics & info on him.

On the dvd I bought on ebay, the footage is supposedly from a camera hidden in a cigar box at the fight.

So yeah, home movies are probably going to be my best bet.

Good news!!!
I found a lady who studies all the great heavy weight fighters from 1800-present. She has a DVD that she put together that has most of the existing film footage on him. She studied his career in depth & is sending me a copy of the dvd. What more could I ask for?
