ED encouraging sites?

I saw a movie today and this girl went to these websites that helped people hide there eating disorders and help them "be better" at losing weight. Are there really such sites? If so what are they?

well i was just wondering if anyone knew of them.

Those sites should probably just be avoided. But knowing the internet, such a place probably does exist.

britt....go to google or yahoo.com and search for "PRO ANA" and sites should come up ALOT of them.....don't go lisenin to wat these nutters say onn the site its ok if u just wana study it and learn a bit more

Wow i looked that up and thats sick they had some pictures of "thinspiration" and it was absolutly sick. How can people make these sites? Like i understand wanting to be thin, but that's really crazy.

was the movie called 'hunger point?' cuz i saw it too! so yeah. there are tons of sites like that.. i kinda used to be ana/mia. search xanga, theres a LOT. but dont try it, if u wanna learn more than ok.

Omg those sites are SICK. The people who made them are disgusting and twisted and need serious help. Oh and I jsut realised you're the girl I spent ages trying to knock some sense into because even though you were going on about how 'not to tell you to eat cause that would be bad' I tried to help you. Okay, did you ever think that maybe people don't want to get better? It's part of the cure to want to be cured. And, if a gurl doesn't feel like getting over her ED, she won't. I go on those sites all the time, and they help me more than any therapy or hospital ever has. Look, Brittany, you want some sites? I personally favor ceruleanbutterfly.com, and starvingforperfection.com (but you have to search it in google to get to it). There's a zillion more and ceruleanbutterfly has links to more. They're not sick! You're just jealous cuz you wish you looked like them.

yeah they are pro-ana sites, there is one called ana's underground grotto, with thinspiration, and letters and stuff, i was looking at it when i started my diet, but i havent been on any mia sites
