Ads on the P & Q site

Do you find the ads that appear here interesting? Do you pay any attention to them? Or have you ever bought a product or service as a result of an ad here?

Today I clicked on one of the auto-generated ads that said something like "We prepare you." And seriously the ad was for a consulting company that gives you advice on how to adjust to your coming prison environment and make your prison sentence into a positive experience.

I may be wrong but I doubt if that ad is going to generate much business from P&Q members.

most of the adds i see are for creepy smiley faces that you can download for screen savers have you seen them

I wouldn't say that an ad for a service that prepares you for prison is very helpful, although I did get a good laugh out of it. :-)

I didn't pay much attention to them either ...all I see are those creepy spiders at the top of the page and 'the kissing quiz'.

Somebody has to pay the bills to keep P & Q running, otherwise it would not be a free site for you and me!

I get random Casino ads! Haha. So random...

So nobody ever bought anything from the ads here -- or, with ads like like HansRik mentioned, maybe wagered anything as a result of the ads? ;-)

For me, the only ad that intrigued me was the one from CallWave but I still didn't order it. But I'm seldom influenced by advertising anyway. I've bought stuff over the internet but it was always something I took the initiative to find.

for months, paris hilton's been trying to convince me to buy this pink phat phone. I have pop up blocker but still that ad pops up everytime. I wish it would die.
