Hunter S. Thompson, judging by my bookcase, followed by Ridley Pearson. |

Definitely George Orwell, because he has succeeded where others have failed to make political art. His writings are so profound despite the apparent simplicity that lies in history and politics. For this, he is my favourite author. Wilde and other aesthets have also caught my attention significantly over the last years. |

Mark Twain, the best of the best. For his sheer creativity with words and situations, Mark Twain (aka Samuel Longhorn Clemens) deserves recognition. Twain was not afraid to say what was unpopular and even taboo in his time, and was able to give the reader a sober message even as he made them laugh their fool head off. Hats off to a true American. |

I'd have to say Nicholas Sparks. The way he writes about love just makes it seem worth falling into. It's always a captivating story and just a beautiful romance! |

My favorite author is John grisham. I love his books. If you haven't read his books than I would suggest reading " The Chamber" It is long but you will be a huge fan if you read this. I also like Stephen King and Mary Higgins Clark. |
