Rap v.s rock debate

i think we should have a mature debate about what we think is better.

In my opinion rap is far inferior to rock for these reasons.

Rap is no better than teeny pop. The only difference between them is that rap tends to be angrier and uses the word nigger a whole lot more than pop music. Rap is lazy!!! rap is the laziest form of music someone can make. Computerized drum beats mixed in with some key boarding. add some gangsta lyrics and your'e done. Rap doesn't need to be rehearsed nearly as much as a typical rock song on account of theres only one person to worry about for the most part. Rappers dont have to spend countless hours learning how to play an instrument which is the main reason i despise rap.

i never thought that deeply into it but that is true. rap is all about sex and violence. well the reality is, sex gets girls pregnant and can give anyone a disease.

Comparing one kind of music to another is idiotic.

Have you ever watched a live rap battle? Those guys and girls are skilled wordsmiths, and many of them have live musicians in the studio.

You might as well say that rock music sucks because freestyle jazz is more complicated, and the musicians are way better than your average rock player.

I gave up debating about music when i was 13...because i realized it takes all kinds of music to make the scene cool.

rappers make more money than anyone in the music business.

in my opinion, if you can't sing or play an instrument, you dont deserve to make a musicians paycheck.

rap isnt all about sex its just most of them that people listen to are inmature or wat ever but there are rappers out there that do rap about life or issues people have rappers like tupac wat tupac raps about is meaningful and i love his rap. but yes i do agree that *most* rappers do rap about sex and gangs and shit. but people do have different looks on things so you cant really find one that is better there are people how like rock and ones who like rap.

well im tryin to be serious here, i hate how rappers are so damn rich while others work their ass off to be good at their instrument and practice countless hours on their song to make sure its played perfectly
