Not to be racist, but I think that all of my black brothers and sisters come to this one.
I am so thankful that she can finally rest. We have alot to thank her for, why do you thank her?

Im not technically 'black' but Im of dark skin, and I def. thank her not just for allowing such great change sin the US towards people of colour but throughout the world. She really changed SO much with one single moment, and affected SO many lives. I thank her deeply for that, and respect her so much.

I understand, but I'm not agianst being open and honest, but she is important to ME, and if she is important to ANYONE ELSE, then feel free to post.
She's one of my heros. Not just childhood, but a life hero. And I respect her.

I agree too, don't read me wrong, but I made this thread to honor one of the first things done to help, I know that there were many before her, but I just want to honor her today.

I Would Like To Say Thank-u To Rosa For Everything She Did, She Did More Than Just Refuse Her Seat Out Of Tierdness, She Put An End To a Long Fight.....Shes a Prime Example, That If One Person Just Gets Up Enough Courage To Take a Stand, You Would Be Suprised At How Much Of The World Would Stand Up With You, Rosa Was Also a Secretary For NAACP....And Thanks To Her Courage To Say "No", The World Has Changed For The Better, She Will Always Be a Legend And a Beautiful Person In My Heart, And In The Hearts Of So Many Others Rosa Parks RIP xoxo-Nikki-xoxo

Rosa was one to bring forward all the injustice, prejudice and racism as a spotlighted example. We should also remeber her for her act but yet we should also think about all those unsung and nameless heros who also strived for equality who where never spotlighted and some in fact who died for such a cause.

Countless others were literally sacraficed in the fight for equality. Yet it is sad today that there are still racists bigots lurking in this world but do so behind a secretive mask.

The battle still continues and there will be countless other Rosa's to come.

Rosa Parks should be an example to everyone on this planet. And to thank her for the freedom and equality she helped install, people just need to remember her.
    bye bye

I'm not of dark colour but I have high respect for Rosa Parks..last year in History we studied the Black Civil Rights..and I was absolutely amazed at how people of dark colour were being discriminated against...but I think Rosa Parks is an extremely courageous woman for doing what she did...
