Don't be so insensitive!!

Hey there!!

I wonder how come people have time to vist the poem but don't have few seconds to rate it. It sometimes becomes so discouraging, you spend hours/days in writing someting and then in the end you find no-one to acknowledge your work even. Let the result be poor/bad/worst or excellent...let it be anything...but atleast acknowledge.

Most people on this site believe that we should all be writing for ourselves, and not the attentions of others.

Maybe thats something you need to think about.

Hi there. I personally feel that if anyone happens to read any poems here, giving it a rating doesn't take more than 1 minute. I think that'll help the writer to know how well is their poem. I do believe everyone would want their own poems be rated as well. But still, can't force anyone to do that too. And I do agree with you, that some may not need the attention of the others as well. :)

I think you should continue to comment on others poems, and they'll defnitely do the same for you. :)

But in myopinion it helps more to comment (Which yes takes longer) a vote is easy so yes spare one lol but it makes me much more happy when I get a vote and then a comment with the vote on why I got it, like if I get a high score why they liked it and if I get a low score what I need to improve on... acutally I like to here what I can improve on weither they give me a high or low score lol:)

i'd love to rate and comment, if my computer weren't the slowest on the planet. It takes long enough to load the poem as it is, lol.

Yes Megadrive, I do agree with you. It's always nice to see new ratings and some comments. This help motivates the writer and they'll continue to produce even better works. But if they do not have the time to comment, a vote would be good.
