What does love mean to you?

Love is what binds us and what pulls us apart.
It means happiness and tears, but it also means that this world doesn't end, that there will always be hope, even through the darkest storm.

Love is the passion that comes from within your soul that makes you want to share your life and form a deep emotional bond with another person. Love is acceptance of the other person with all his/her strengths as well as imperfections. Love is a commitment to place the greatest importance on your lover’s concerns and happiness without sacrificing your own values.

Love is the strength to carry on. Its an outpouring of emotion that you feel for someone/or someone feels for you, that becomes your whole life. Love is imperfect, but perfectly fit for everyone.

love: Some very interesting thoughts i have read, but this is what i think, you can agree, or you can think its all shit, but its my opinions.
Firstly about me: I am 18, i have never had many boyfriends, the only one i have LOVED is Antony, my ex who hates me and that wasnt nice, i loved him deeply but things happened, and in the end we split up and he said some nasty stuff to me.
My best mate is like my sister and in a way, love comes into it because we care for each other, and she is always there when i need her, night or day.
LOVE: Okay, love can be many many things, it can be great, it can be sad, depends on the circumstances and problems that may arise, but if you look in the dictionary at the definition it says "an intense feeling of deep affection or fondness", now to me, that can mean anything, you might meet some poor old lady, and get to know her well, visit her and whatever but you wouldnt say you loved her would you?
To me, love is something you can feel for someone, and something you could feel, my best friend is so kind, and it makes me feel loved, but i loved my ex.
As for forgiving and forgeting, some people say that if you love someone enough you can forgive them for anything but forgiveness is hard, and in some circumstances you cannot forgive and forget, i bet anything your partner had an affair, you couldnt just forgive him/her even if you loved them.
I am no expert on love and relationships or whatever, but love is complicated and it can mean all sorts of things.

You have to be strong enough to control your feelings and emotions. I think l0ve is something very special and it has to be two way. No one can tell you how you feel other then yourself..
