Becky, you actually do have major veins on your wrist. That's how people actually commit suicide... they cut their wrist and cut the vein on their wrist and die from losing so much blood. I would advise you to not cut your wrists if you actually don't want to commit suicide.

Just be careful... and the best way to be careful is to stop cutting. There are a lot of alternatives for actually cutting, maybe you should think about it.

I have to agree that all the veins on your wrist are serious, and just as an afterthought, it's easier to hid the cuts if you do them further up your arm...I mean not at all would be better, but who am I to dish out advice?
And yes, in answer to the original question, I think everyone has those veins on the top side of their wrist.

theres a fairly serious vein around the armpit, which if someone cuts you there you bleed to death before you have time to decide how to curse them. theres a few major ones around you inner thighs, wrists, near the groin and in the neck. however, most people who try to slit their own throats can't reach those veins because they're near the airway, so they normally end up cutting that by accident and choking on their own blood.
