Wait, Thanksgiving is Easter, right? Same thing?

-I celebrate, or rather, my mum celebrates russian orthodox easter, and she usually makes some type of nice dinner, then paints hard-boiled eggs and makes *blini* and other russian traditional easter foods, like a cheese-cake and stuff.
Now that I don't eat meat, and the whole family doesn't eat sugar I don't think we're going to do much.

Thanksgiving is entirely different from Easter.

Thanksgiving celebrates and commemorates the first successful harvest of the original British settlers in colonial America.

Is this the season you observe Easter? You had me wondering (???) but then I realized your seasons in Chile are the opposite from ours in the US.

I propose that all of us who are cooking for T-Day form a mutual pact of inviting and visiting each other for the leftovers on Friday. ;-)
