a christmas tree, but make sure it is still in the ground. Tie an axe to the trunk with a bow and lead him to it with his eyes shut. when he opens them he will be surprised and get to chopping right away. Then you will have goten him an axe, and he will have gotten you your christmas tree. That way you both benefit.
