plagiarism

hey.. the other day someone sent me a message regarding my poem and told me they found it on another site, and i was accused of 'plagiarism' and well, ive had this poem in my notebook for years, and ive had it posted on this site for around a year and a half.

as you can see.. its the same as mine, give or take a few words changed.

now i tried contacting the other site i found my poem on, and as of yet have not gotten a reply.

i just wanted to ask what is the best way to go about getting my poem removed from this other website?

and if its at this other site, god knows where else this person posted it as theirs.. whats the best way to look for it?

maybe im over-reacting a bit.. but i just never thought something of mine would be stolen..

I know how you feel.

The best way is to send the admins on that site an email, or contact them in any way, and tell them that your poem is on that site without your permission, and that you will NOT accept this.

Try and find a specific date the poem was posted. If you email the site administraters, include the date yours was posted and the date the plagiarized poem was posted.

You put the link to your poem in both places. Do you have a link to another site that someone said is the original?

as you can see i have contacted the administrator of the site, he was very cooperative, and ive recieved full credit as deserved. thank you for everything guys :)
