Simple Plan

Well, I know this is quite random, but I am as of right now just being bored trying to think of something to write. And I got nowhere. So, I turned on music, and here's Simple Plan and the song Crazy... I never actually liked Simple Plan, I mean I didn't mind them - but not in a million years did I think I would be the one to bring them up- but I'm listening to the lyrics in the song 'Crazy' (I believe that's what it's called...?) Well, I realized that the lyrics and the message they send is one that has to be heard. What is wrong with society??? The more I think about it, the less fond I grow of the human race... Well anyway, just felt I could say something. I never thought I had any pet peves, but the song helped me realize that the only one I have, is one that's definately a problem. Society smells really bad! -sorry to sound childish that's just how I am :P -

I've never listened to Simple Plan, but I did notice that some songs have messages in the lyrics that we don't heard half the time, because we are too cunsumed with the music and rhythm.

yup... i think that song is reallie meaningful too.. i like simple plan.. but sometimes the lyrics are too... simple? but i still listen to them when i don't want to think...
and i also love the music video for shut up... its kind of irrelevant to lyrics but... :P

Hate to point it out....but songs are the most common form of poetry today, most people think they are different from the poems we write on here just because they have a different rythym to them and are so common, but they are just lyrical poems. I dont think we pay enough attention to that form of poetry and appreciate the effort it takes to write them. So look up the lyrics of a song today and appreciate the talent that it took to write it let alone be able to sing it in key. Some of the best poets out there are singers....
