tha idol competitions

theyre a craze here in NZ n i might enter it one day. one thing I really hate? The winner gets only a week to produce a debut single..I wouldnt wanna come first, i'd rather come second uno? I mean, its a rushed record, surely it's not going to be very good so the record companys are losing money too

Yep they are crazy and I heard Ben Lummis got dropped even before Idol2 started. If you want to hit it big I'd suggest staying away from idol cause you definately get typecast, you should try entering just the comps like the singstar ones and stuff, and build up from there.
