OoOoOoOoOOoOooOoOo Mine were really bad a bit ago...and guess what the dentist suggested apart from strong painkillers....

BRANDY!! so i was like wahayy! lol... apparently a bit of brandy soaked on a cotton wad and placed on the area can help sooth it *shrugs*
