I don't think they are respectable, no. Mostly, I think, they look really stupid. Everyone I've seen with their nose pierced, it is either so small that I think they have something on their nose that shouldn't be there, or, it's so hidiously large that it just makes them look stupid. Eyebrow ring = stupid (and leaves one wicked scar), tongue ring = stupid (oh god the bacteria, think of the bacteria!!!) anywhere else on the face (other than ears) = stupid. But, hey, that's just my opinion.

I think a nice little stud in the nose is acceptable, And i think they also look really nice.

That's the one!!! I've told like 3 people that they have a little something on their nose and it turned out to be a piercing. How embarassing...

I think the eyebrow is the most ugliest thing ... anyone i seen with it it looked so bad but i didnt say anything .. didnt want to offend anyone. xD

Would I take you home to my parents respectable? Probably not

Each to their own but I guess whatever floats your boat personally i dont find them attractive and I dont think "respectable" is quite the appropriate word to describe them :o)

I think a nose piercing can look resepctable, but I don't like them myself.

I like eyebrow and lip piercings...but I wouldn't get them myself, needles...

i didnt meen that you have to care. i couldn't care less how people see me. all i ment is that people still think things based upon how you look.

That's because they only want to divert their attentions away from their flaws and into others.

I do it sometimes, it is quite satisfying, when you actually see others rather than your own. No worries.

Like I have a mood if I don't get what I want, and I can sometimes be a really scathing person and I can be quite childish with my games. But then that is just me.

Don't you feel bad when you look at yourself as a dyxlexic, paranoia stricken cutting (which is quite odd on males let alone men) 20 year old man, who needs to grow up.

i got my eyebrow pierced it didnt hurt you can hardly feel it. i wanna get my lip and my other eyebrow pierced. it shouldnt matter if piercings are respectful or not its the persons body so they should be allowed to do whatever they want to it.

Respectable? Well, considering "respectable" is just a word and it's values waver. I don't really see why it should matter.

As for me, I'm looking to get a lip ring on the left side. ^_^

The eyebrows FREAK me OUT...i shudder any time I see someone with one.

Lip rings are actually pretty hot to some people. I, personally, think they are, but eventually, I can imagine that that too would freak me out. Its unnatural to have metal in your lip...

On the ears, yeah. I dont mind. I have a couple piercings on my ear. Used to have a cartlidge piercing but it got infected.

Tongue piercings- Oh gosh...I knew someone who couldn't talk properly for like...MONTHS because of that thing...
Think of the NASTY gap it leaves in your TONGUE!! All the taste buds it kills....how unsanitary!! Not to mention the terrible risk of infection with ANY type of piercing..i just can't imagine how repulsive it is to get an infection on your tongue!! ewie!!!

I wanted one for a while, but then I realized how sensitive I am when anyone just TOUCHES my belly. The whole skin in my belly feels constantly numb and i cant stand touching it sometimes. Its just...ewie. lol!!!!! So i dont know how anyone can stand to have this metal BALL in your belly...that would HUUUUUUURT.

Nose rings-I think that yeah...they're pretty cool. My best friend has a nose ring, and most of the older generations can't stand looking at ANYONE with ANY type of piercing on anything OTHER than the ear...but here she is with a nose ring and my dad is old fashioned. My dad spazzed, so I toyed on his fear that I might get one.

We were BARELY friends and we went to the mall together and there was this shop that specialized in fake piercings. It was awsome...not only did I get to scare the hell out of my dad, but i can just buy a little ring and attach it to WHEREVER for less than 2 bucks without leaving a scar or a mark. And i can take it out painlessly in a matter of seconds.

Anyone hear of snakebites?
They're double piercings on the bottom lip....its pretty weird at first, but one of my friends has them...i've gotten pretty used to it...but he's always playing with his lips.

I have a major fear of needles too,..so i doubt i could handle many piercings.

I think piercings can be respectable, but it depends where they are.

it's kind of hard to think of respect when someone has spikes sticking of our every available flap of skin....i personally think it's all about attention seeking....though i'll admit, it like a girl with a tongue stud...but thats for none visual reasons...huh huh...

Heh, for most people it is just about attention. I just want a lip ring to play with (so I can stop chewing on my lip), and because it would be fun to make out with, heh.

lol, I do have to admit it does look bad on a lot of guys. But, if you have the right look it goes along very well.

Would not mind eyebrow or side of lip but dont think I will get them done. Not untill im in my late 20's anyway.

I just have one question here, some one said metal in the lip is unnatural, and others say facial piercings freak them out, but then why do you have no trouble with the ears being pierced, its still on the face, and you say metal in the mouth in unnatural but isnt it anywhere on the body??

I think piercing are great, I don't have anything on my face, my parents don't let me. But I want to pierce 3 holes on each ears. my boyfriend have 4 on his right ear & 5 on his left, 1 on his nose, but I think he look great ^_^.

No tongue pierce for me, I hate tongue piercing.

I think that the nose is ok...But i would never kiss a guy with a tongue ring or lip ring!! Plus if I brought home a guy with any piercings my dad would turn him away at the door(with shotgun in hand)!!
