Alright, Paris sings good, but I didn't like her song choice. don't get me wrong she preformed that song awesome.

Ace also sings good, but the song he did, didn't really fit him I think, he has a nice mellow voice.

Bucky is a very good country singer. I liked his song choice.

Chris, he is a rock guy, personally I think he belongs in a band ( he already has a band ) I really didn't like his song choice.

Elliott can sing, he has a good voice, I liked his song choice, but it seemed to me he had some trouble with it( just alittle )

Katherine I liked the song she sang, but seemed to me she had some trouble with it.

Kellie sings pretty good as well, I thought the song was fine ( seemed like Simon disagreed )

Lisa, she destroyed that song I thought.

Mandisa, I don't like her style, she belongs in a gospil group.

Taylor, I don't like the way he sings. His song choice was not that bad, it fit him, but I don't like the way he sings.

If I was to guess who is going to win, I would either say Ace, Bucky or Elliott.

But I gotta say, Paris had it going on. She was the most confident and fun one that's why i voted for her.

Yeah, I agree with all your opinions with each of them.

Actually, I don't know who will win, I just hope lol.

It could be a surprise, who knows lol.

Yeah, I think Lisa is getting worse, and that was the WORST possible song choice.

I don't agree with Brit about Ace, he can really sing good, but his song choice was not the best, it didn't fit his style of singing, that is why I say I disagree with Brit, the song was not for his style of singing, that is why he was all over the place with it.

but that is just my opinion.

no offence to you Britt, but do you sing? I do, maybe that is why I have different veiws.

Sadly, i still watch the overrated American Idol, which has become so because of how many seasons it has lived through...

But the auditions are funny as crap! HAHAHAHA

I love Chris though. ^______^ My mom and i squeal everytime he goes onstage...haha. Makes me feel like a kid again.

Just in response to Britt, Chris didnt change the Johnny Cash song- 'Live' did ;) Lol, theres this whole drama about it going on now.

Anyway, i havent seen 'last nights' episode cause we're a week behind here in mexico, but I just saw the '50's night. SO far, im gonna give my readers digest of the contestants:

Katharine; DAMN do I have the McPheever! Not only does this girl have such a versatile, pure voice that just latches onto anything like glue but it always sounds SO smooth. I love it. She has THE cutest personality and is one good looking girl! (Im rooting for her!)

Chris; Guy can sing! What else can I say? Although some may say he's 'cheating' his way around the weekly themes by singing covered versions of the songs I still think he's got it! He has this amazing blend of rasp and softness to his voice. (Rooting for him too!)

Mandisa; Or should I say, ManDIVA! She is probably THE best female vocalist in the show. She's entertaining and lively and has, like Barry said, 'no range'- she can just sing ANYTHING- high, low, anywhere. However, i must say- even though she has a GOOD voice, doesnt mean she always has a PLEASANT voice.

Taylor; I dont think an AI contestant has ever bugged me this much. Hes SO sickly happy and sweet and looks so old. His stage presence, he has one- but its embarrasing. Like SImon said- he's the token drunk dad at a wedding! His voice has its good times but overall he reallyisnt anything special.

Paris; I cant STAND the way she talks, so im glad we hear her sing more often. She has a potentially good voice, I just think it still needs a lot of grooming. Like I said with Mandisa, I dont think she has a pleasant voice (most of the time) but she does have (even if its kinda annoying!) charisma, and has a voice far beyond her years!

Elliot; He's one hell of a talented guy, what he really needs to learn, however, is to control the stage and maybe even learn how to be more lively. he sings, but theres not much there. maybe an uptempto song would help? I like him, but I dont see him making it to the top 3.

Lisa; She is SO pitchy. I hate to pull the 'age' card (cause Im young) but she just seems too young to try and sing what she has been singing so far! She does make up for this with her stage usage and presence, but overall she's basically THE most inconsistant contestant this season.

Ace; His falsetto bugs me, it might 'melt' everyone else but it make sme wanna smack him. However I LOVE how he manages his run, I can picture him singing material like what Craig David sings BEAUTIFULLY because thats what his voice is like, and I think he wastes in trying to 'show off' his falsetto. Besides, he seems much too insecure.

Kellie; As everyone seems to have noticed, it looks like its all downhill from here. I never liked her much but she's gotten worse. I think her accent seems WAY too strong to even TRY and sing other songs (like on 'Stevie' night!) and, I dunno why, but I think she thinks much too highly of herself so cant take the criticism well. She needs to loosen up a lot more and stop with the 'Im a country girl- Im a dumb blonde' act. It worked for Paris and Jessica, but we dont need another thanks ;)

Bucky; Speaking of Jessica! This guy cant enunciate a damn word, he's bad when he sings- hes even WORSE when he speaks. He knows his style, and thats good, but he really needs to know how to open his mouth and get the words out better and learn HOW to sing into a mic. He has a DECENT voice, and I think he's almost overestimated by the fact we can never understand what he's saying!

    My personal top three:
    Chris
    Katharine
    Mandisa

Anyone know who Simon pegged as HIS top 3? im DYING to know! Oh and anyone know who sang what last night?

Wow, I hate to say it Italian stallion, but I'm almost in complete disagreement with you. I do sing, and plenty of people think I'm awesome, (infact some people are trying to get me into Canadian Idol) so I don't know if that really does make all the difference or not.
First of all, I want to say... As pretty as ace is, I don't like his voice at all! He's got an alright high pitch and a really mellow singing voice and everything, which is good...But So many people can sing in a mellow way. It's the power housers that really get to me, because it's really rare to find someone who can use their diaphragm to the full and stay on tune the whole time. Which is one reason I like Mandisa. I respect her for standing up for her religion even though she probably knew she'd get some unnerved people in the crowd. I also respect her for forgiving simon for his past comment. Over all, she is infact one of my favourites.
Elliot, is my absolute favourite. I love his style, his sound his choices... I do agree with you onthat part, he could be one of the winners.
Paris, and Katherine are also greats.
Kellie is alright for country. Bucky is alright...But Kellie is better. I don't know, it just seems to me like Bucky sometimes tries too hard and gets alot of sharp notes. Maybe it's just me?
Taylor onthe other hand, I really like this guy. I can understand why some might think he's annoying or just too different - but that's why I like him. He's got one of those older feels to him, like Micheal Mcdonald. (I don't really like Micheal Mcdonald all that much, but millions of others to, and I do think Taylor Hicks could go a long way.) And Taylor is so fun to! lol, Not afraid to 'dance' like weirdo -power to him :P Character is everything baby!

Well anyway, I only came here to post my faves:

    Katherine
    Elliot {Not that this list is in order, but these 3 -chris and elliot- tie for greatest places ever! }
    Chris
    Paris
    Mandisa...

The winner? Who knows? It took too damn long for them to vote out Kevin. I mean chicken little may have been cute, but he couldn't sing!!! So I really don't know what America is gonna vote anymore. One thing I do know though is that Chris doesn't need to win American idol to get a record deal.. He's gonna be big even if he's voted out next.

Personally, I'm rooting for Ace. He's had a few bad nights and all, but I think he sings just fine. It was "Butterflies" that decided that for me.
I'd also like to see Bucky (What can I say, I like cowboys lol) and Elliot (I Don't Want To Be, that was awesome) go far. The only girl I can see getting too far in this competition really is Katherine.
Anyways that's my opinion, not like it matters considering I live in Canada.

Personally I think out of everyone, I think that Bucky or Elliott will win, that is just my opinion.

Chris on the other hand, I have to agree he most likely will get a record deal, I don't agree with it all that much but I think he has a chance of getting one. Personally I think he belongs in a rock band type. He already is in his own band so I really don'y yhink it will be that hard for him, But I don't think he is the next american idol.

Ace, I do like, he has a nice mellow voice, but I don't think he is going to win.

Bucky, I love his style, he is the only one besides chris that sticks to his style of singing. He has a good voice for the gerne that he sings ( which is mostly country )

Elliott, he has an awesome voice, he sings with confidence. although his song choice, I don't want to be, I think he struggled a bit with that song.

as for the others, I just don't feel that they are going to be the next american idol. one or two might get a record deal.
