"The Privilege of Youth" and "Life's Lessons"

I didn't cry cause I'm a man! ... and crying is for emo girls.

There was someting in my eye the first time, and the second time... I think I was cutting onions. :/

    Enjoy

"A child called it" is about a very young boy who is mistreated by his mother. She use to make him sleep in the basement and never gave him a change of clothes.. but that was not even the hardest part.. the hardest part was getting through the day without a beating, and getting food. And when allowed a little bit of food, it was usally rotten or scraps the dog left over. His dreams and hopes kept him alive.

You NEED to read it. You will find it hard to put down.
They might have it in the library. Make sure you have a box of tissues.. not that I needed or anything.. just saying.

That book is so sad...I had no interest in reading the third book...after a while it seemed like he kept writing in the "poor me" kinda style...It made me cry though every single page it was so hard to believe that it was true

I abso loved the first book it was amazing. I think it is so brave of him to come out about the abuse he was put through. Has anyone read...."Ugly- by Constance Briscoe"...another powerful book I recommend it...truly inspirational read...

I think it takes so much courage and it is an all time classic....glad I got that off my chest...nehoo....

Yeah, I read that book too. At first, I thought that it was sad but then i realized he has a better life now. It makes me depressed when i think of all the kids that get absused.
