I'm going to NYC...

I'm going to New York on Tuesday... and i have no idea how much to pack.. im gonna b there for like 4 days but i plan on doing a whole crapload of shopping, so i dunno if i should pack a lot - or not much at all... i dont wanna over pack and then buy lots of stuff.. but i dont want to get down there and not have anything to wear either... help please... thanks a bunch..

haha sheesh?? that doesn't tell me wut to pack lol jk... i was freaking out when i posted it b/c today is prolly one of my last days on the computer until i go so i needed & still need the advice quickly..

you should take the amount of clothes for 6 days with you just in case of an emergency. Remeber in NYC, theres alot of hot single guys and awesome clubs, so dress to impress and bring really cute partying outfits!!

I just got back from NY on friday night, I was there for two days. I over packed. I brought a whole suitcase full of stuff. And I agree with the above that there are some GORGEOUS guys. Just for goodness sake dont go as a redsox fan! (I went just to see the game- which the redsox won...just saying) Then New York is scary.

OMG at 4:30am tomorrow morning I have to be up and ready and at the school up the road to catch the bus which leaves at 5 am i wont be in NYC until later tomorrow night but i am SOOO excited... the only thing that could in a way kinda suck is that im going to with my class so its going to be like this at this time, and that at that time, and all that crap but there will be somet time where we can just run around times square shopping!! OMG haha i am soo sooo excited!! ( :

I live in NYC, and I know you should be really excited. It's a great place for someone who loves partying and noise. Pack a decent amount of clothes, but make sure you're bringing a lot of money if you want to shop here. It's quite expensive. Make sure you stay in times square at night, visit the wax museum, go to central park...there's so much you can do here. I hope you have a good time!

thanks for the advice! ... i do plan on going to the wax museum and like i said its like a class thing so we're going on the today show, and we're going to see the statue of liberty and we're going to espn zone and a few other places but the shopping time is what really excites me...... umm ok u live in NYC soo im 14 and im going to be shopping for like about 2 or 2 1/2 hours every day... about how much $$$ should i be bringing down?? also for food... like lunch here and there and supper for 1 night??
