[10] Let It Burn.

I'm all alone, Thinking about the times we shared,
But boy this I swear, All along I truly cared.
The way I felt when we were together,
Will stay in my heart, Always, Forever.

You've shown me life, And set me free,
You said I'd conquer who I want to be.
Skin against skin, Feeling your warmth touch,
I've come to terms that I miss you too much.

And I'm feeling so lost without you here,
But in my heart you stay, You're always near.
The good and bad times, We've shared them all,
Through thick and thin, You'd break my fall.

My heart you stole, You have the key,
But now it's over, There's no more we.
Tossing and turning all through the night,
I'll let it burn, In my heart I know its right.

#12 Your All I Have

She said I love you
Every morning and night
He said it back
So tender, so right

They finished eachothers sentences
And smiled everywhere they went
They were the happiest couple
Even though they barely had a cent

Then one day
The husband came home from work
He yelled "I got a promotion,
Im no longer a store clerk!"

But there was also some bad news
That he hadnt yet told his wife
He had to go away on business
All the way to Yellowknife

She finally found out
But wasnt very mad
She knew they needed the money
But would soon be very sad

The hour before he left
They expressed there love
Then he boarded the plane
And flew high above

They wrote eachother everyday
Long distance phone calls were too much
They said there I love yous
And how they long for eachothers touch

But one day
The husband never got a letter
He was very worried
But knew he should no better

But then another day passed
Still nothing, no news
He had to get home
But his promotion he would lose

He didnt care about his job
He needed to know she was okay
All he did on the flight
Was hope and pray

He reached his porch
And walked inside
The house was silent
Which was strange to find

A neighbor came rushing over
Just to break his heart
She said "I'm sorry your wife is dead!"
His world has now fallen apart

He whispers I love you
At the funeral home
Tears streaming down his face
He is now all alone

They lower her casket
Into the ground
Hes screaming and crying
Everyone watching, not making a sound

On her stone read these words
I love you with my whole heart
You were always there for me
Till death do us part.

*60 lines exactly lol..not very good but oh well......

awwwww.. that was sooo saddd.. but i just felt like it was kinda missing why she died.. but anyway, great poem!

This love, has taken over my mind,
I've lost my reasoning, and I can't seem to find-
it. Where has my feelings gone? I don't know,
All I know is when you're around, I glow.

You make me feel so special, I feel so in love,
Although you don't go beyond or above-
to try to make it work. You say you don't want me,
Not so much me, but any girlfriend, but you make my heart flee.

I support your every move, wait to hear the phone ring,
Every time I hear your name, I think about your everything.
Each time you look at me, look in my eyes,
Every time it comes as such a surprise.

You say you don't want a girlfriend, yet flirt so much,
Each time I see you, me you gently touch.
Not my friends, or yours, but me!
What the heck AJ, everyone agrees.

They say give me a chance, and I couldn't agree more,
If you don't like me, return me to the relationship store.
All I want is a chance, I promise I'll be good,
You'll never need to call me, I'd do anything I could.

I know you have feelings for me, I can sense it inside,
But a girlfriend you don't want, but just let your feelings ride.
Take my hand, lay a kiss upon this skin,
This love in my heart, is too strong, let's begin!

I need your love, please AJ, I plead,
I rarely need money, you won't need to feed-
me. I'll buy! I'll do anything, I swear I will,
For you're love, I'd even kill.

So, AJ, when you need me give me a call,
So we can hold hands, and chillax at the mall.
I'll be waiting, I know you know my number,
Please hurry up though, it's almost summer.

GOING CRAZY

I've never felt this way before you drive me crazy up the wall.
when im usually so on the ball.

you scream and shout without a doubt, even you don't know what its about.

everyday and every night you always have to start the fight.

i work my balls of everyday just to hope you will not say "you fucking stupid silly cow i want my tea Mon chow right now."

but then one night like a bat of hell my Patience blow, it really fell.

Ive never been this way before when i knocked you flying to the floor.
i just could not take your shit no more.

now its me who wears the pant no more you bossing me about.

its you thats done this to me I'm going crazy can you not see.......

im now as crazy as can be!

Your dark eyes, reflecting emotion
Blue as water from the arctic
Mystifying enough to pull me in
I see you stare, and I freeze

My heart beats at a thousand mph
I can die happy, I've reached heaven's gates
To make you laugh is all I need
After all, you notice me

On vacation I wrote you notes
When you left, I missed you so
My heart fell apart with an immoral rip
Without you, I seemed to be losing grip

I clung to your every move, stare and breath
To the outer world, I seemed to be deaf
We fell in love on a winter day
My love for you never went away

I still had secret crushes, I know you did too
What's hard to believe is you left me, your boo
Thinking you were just another toy
That I'd leave you for another boy

A while later, you sent me email curses
Made me feel guilty, my heart hurting
You stared at me with icy, angered eyes
My angered misery fed my brokenhearted cries

Today, I'm simply happy
You passed me in the hall
No one would guess
You were the love for which I falled

You look at me with newer eyes
Never again will I have to cry
We promised now, we'll just be friends
My ties with you will never end

These confusing days, without you here,
Should I smile, or shed a tear?
I gave you my heart, as a gift to you,
"From your love, the one and true."
I gave you my mind, heart, it all,
You gave me yours as I recall.
But did you really, give me you?
I really don't know, I have no clue.
Did you mean it, or did you lie?
Was it youre fault you made me cry?
Did you love me, or did you not?
Did you tell me, 'cause I forgot.
Did you mean it, from the start?
Or is another name still written in youre heart?

In My Mind

See you lying next to me, holding on my hand,
You are so tired, just finished playing with your band.
You turn on your side, and look into my eyes,
You say, “close you’re eyes, I’ve got a surprise”.

I close them tight, nervous of what it could be,
He says “ok, open them”, and a bouquet of roses sits for me.
It has a card that says “Darling Erika, it’s you I dream of,
I think we’re made for each other I’m in love.

I don’t care about what all the other guys want,
I only want you, I swear I won’t leave and haunt-
Your mind with my words, because I want you forever,
Can’t you see baby, you and I, we belong together!”

I turn to him, my eyes brimming with tears,
“Baby, I love you to, and I will throughout the years.
I’ve felt this way from the second I met you, you make me smile,
Darling, with you, I’d gladly walk down the aisle.”

I come back to reality, it’s all just a dream,
What a disappointment, that really hurt my esteem.
It seemed so real, I thought he finally understood,
It was all in my mind, yet the dream was so good.

omg *pulls out hair* i had saved my poem that was 39 lines long....and i cant find it. Is there a certain time we need the poems up anyway?

~Incomplete~ (hehe I found it)

She asked him a simple question, "Hey James, where have you been?"
He looked down with watered eyes. "I don't know where to begin..."
"What do you mean, what is this? You don't gimme that darn look."
He sighed and started to reply. "Take back from me what I have took."
"You did not take anything! James, please just let us talk!"
"Maybe I should really go... Go take a nice long walk."
"You're not moving, not until You explain for me
Where you've been and what you took. And then you can go free."
He had sighed just once more And then he met her gaze
And he began to explain What he's done the past few days.
She had gasped once or twice At the sound of different girls
Who had gone to different bars And wrapped thier finger in thier curls.
"But why would you chose them over me? You told me we'd never part.
I thought you'd never cheat on me......We need some time apart."
"But I thought I..." "NO, please don't, You broke my trust already.
If I was told ANOTHER lie..." she paused , "I would be unsteady."
He watched as she had grabbed her coat and walked through both the doors.
He thought, 'What can do to fix this and tell her 'I am yours'?'

He summed up a spheech,that after an hour,had sounded quite like this:

Without you I don't know where I'd be or what I'd do
I would be drunk in a bar drinking a witches brew.
Without you I'm incomplete I thought you'd think the same
But I don't blame you if you don't... I can feel the shame
You're the half thats what I'm not and what I need to be
You're the one who keeps me living, if only you could see!
These days you're gone are endless. The time just never stops.
It seems each time I think of you, my aching stomach drops.
I am not just who I am, without you here with me.
I am not 'James' anymore, I'll still be single 40.
I promise I'll never leave you again, if you just come back home.
I know I broke the promise before, when my mind would roam.
But now I'm changed and now I know that without you it's not the same.
I sorry for all the pain I caused and even for the shame.
But please forgive me so once more, both of us'll be complete
Our bond could be like it once was....strong, firm, concrete.

Needless to say she came back to James
Both were made complete
Now thier love is stronger than ever
(No more girls did James ever meet)
