Ok well you know when you talk to someone and they are like
-babe
-suger
-hun
-baby
-ect..

I just hate it, to me its just like..excuse me i have a name, would you mind using it? ..Am i the only one who feels this way??

It dependshow it's used ... I can't stand if it's used in a sleazy way, but sometimes it can be sweet. Perhaps because I am neglected by my boyfriend it makes it sweet when he -very rarely- uses it. I dunno .. just a thought.

it does my head in when friends say it but if guys say it then it's fine by me lol =)

@...I think it depends on how its said...sometimes its ppls ways of showinf affection...but then other times its ppl trying to be cool..and i think thats really stupid!!!

but all around i hate it when i'm not called my name or my nickname

it is only acceptable if my boyfriend calls me a pet name. we have a huge list: precious, babe, baby, hun, honey, sugar pie, hot stuff, poop, boob, chicken, angel, cookie, etc....

so yeah, i like it when he calls me that stuff but i think i would get wierded out if he NEVER called me by my real name.
