I'm the youngest and my parents are always talking about my oldest brother who's going to pharmacy school. Whenever someone asks "How are your kids?" They speak highly of him, but when it comes to me they'd say how I've been trouble and stuff.
I can't wait till he moves out!!! He bought a house yesterday so now all they have to do is build it and he's outta here!
That time needed to come long ago...

Cummon..no one has sibling troubles except for me and lauren over here....cough em up!!

Heh, yeah I think everyone has sibling troubles. Everytime my brother, he's 15, does something wrong, my parents call me up where ever I am and start yelling at me for it. I never understood it really. And my little sister (10) gets away with everything! I get in trouble for everything she does too. Yay for being the oldest -rolls eyes-.

I don't. I don't live with any of my sisters. And I'm so thankfull for that. I have an older sister who is 20, and a younger sister who is 12, and then 2 half sisters who are identical twins and there 4. But they all live with my mum, really far away. So yesh. But I do miss them. Tehe.

"oh he's gunna be president, oh and a gymnast and whatever the hell else...and the kids only 5!!!"

Like you've said, he's five. He's only a child, and it's generally considered a good parenting technique to give young children lots of praise. And I'm betting you're parents would have said the same sort of things about you when you were five.

I get treated differently from my two brothers (7 & 16), and I don't know whether that's because I'm the oldest, or because I'm a girl, but I really couldn't care less. And why should I? I won't get myself so worked up over something so childish.

Oddly enough me and my three siblings get along just fine... No fights or anything of the sort.

^Yeah I generally get along with my siblings fine too, it's my parents that I don't get along with I guess. Over things that my siblings do.

UHM. Not really true, considering most of the children who are overly praised expect a successful acting career with fame & fortune served to them on a silver platter. :)

^^Yes, I suppose you have a point, but I do think at the age of five, it's nice to encourage young children, help them build up self-confidence, and believe in themselves.

well encourage them..yeah,...but hey..i could use some encouraging!!..as i said..when i asked what they thought i might be they just shrugged and sent me to get my bro some strawberries!!!I think thats a bit more than just giving him encouragement...:(

sibling rivearly doesnt mean we dont have lives,...its just that our parent dont treat all their kids fairly...its the paernts fault...and we have our own lives too..its not like every second of the day i think about this..its just gets to me cause they do it soo much!!!:(

Okay. Every time I work for something I really want, which my parents won't get me, I buy it. And then a week later they buy one for everyone.

And my mom gives my bro what ever he wants. He wanted his licence, He got it right away. Got to drive her car whenever, when I turned 16, no, you can not get your license until you are 18. All time that happens to me. And I do everything in the house. Laundry, vacuum, dust, EVERYTHING. And I still get pushed around.

my brother gets soooo annoying sometimes but i still love him (he's 11), when i get really mad at him i just think of how it would be if he wasn't here...and i always come up with one answer, even if i'm mad out of my mind it's always "I couldn't bare it!!"...everyone is suppose to fight with their sibblings cuz your around them like every day and when your around someone every day you start to get tired of each other...trust me i know!!!!!!! lol even though i'm only 14 :D

Middle Child. The one not about to approach they're future like the oldest, or the one who's completely adorable. I'm just the middle. She gets "S" on her report card(Thats what you get in first grade in my district) and she gets presents for that. I get a freakin 3.6 but nooooo, lol. I do complain a little too much about it. I mean, I was youngest at a time, I have my talents, I can't blame my problems and my attention issues on my sister.

If you want to be treated like an adult by your parents from my own experiences you have to act like one. Im sure there pride in him isnt intentionally to hurt. You need to stop, think about what you want to say and speak to your parents diplomatically about the way what they say makes you feel...they wont know you have problem if you dont tell them, they're not mind readers. Just make sure you TALK not scream and rant and rave (like I did so many years ago) because otherwise you wont be successful in getting your point across...

I love my little brothers.....yeah they can be really annoying sometimes but mostly they're really cool kids......probably my best friends.

Never had any problems concerning attention or anything like that, they always get more but why should it bother me? Its important that they get attention...important that they know they're cared for and that they play an important part in the family.

I find it quite sad that teenagers are actually complaining about their siblings getting more attention that them. I mean are you really all that depraved?
