Best Day of Her Life

She wakes up that morning
With a smile on her face
Her skin is shining
And her eyes are bright
And she knows
That this is going to be
The best day of her life..

Surrounded by a group
Of giggling girls
They carefully do her hair
They expertly
Twist, brush, and perfect
Her long blond curls

Her make up makes her look
Like a fairy princess
And with that sparkle
In her excited green eyes
She looks as if she could fly

As she puts on her dress
All they can do is stare in awe
She is a vision in white
Like the first layer of snow
On a cold winter night

When the music
She has longed to hear
For so long starts to play
She picks up her longs skirts
And blissfully walks
Like a graceful ballerina
Down the aisle
Towards the love of her life

He stands there
The look upon his face incredulous
She looks so beautiful
He thinks to himself

And when its finally time
To promise to be together forever
They place the golden rings
Upon their fingers
Look up and smile
And nothing could have
Ever been more magical
Than the moment
Their eyes met and they
Repeated the everlasting words "I do"

My Hearts Decision

At times I desperately want to tell you goodbye;
for all the countless nights in my room where I cried,
from hearing your painful words that shattered my heart leaving me with feeling like I'd just rather die.

I'm your fiance, so why did you let me feel that way (?)
Is it because your love for me has faded away (?)

Or did you get to comfortable and thought it was okay because my love for you is so strong and knew I was here to stay (?)

Thoughts came into mind,
maybe its not impossible to be a better person out there to find.

Someone who love me the way I loved you,
but never imagine to hurt me the way you do.

But how will I find this person and who will it be (?)
I just can't wait for him to take away the pain and make me happy.

My heart interrupted speaking louder than my thoughts,
saying "what about all the good times that he brought(?)"

the many ways he helped you and all the good he has done,
after thinking about it, do you honestly feel that he isn't the one (?)

how else could your close minded self, find someone to easily spill your guts to till there's nothing left to say,
while falling in love with him in just one day (?)

Who else will put up with your extreme heart of a child personality,
and at the same time, share so many likes and dislike similarities (?)

Who else will sing to you every night before you go to sleep (?)
although through all the ups and downs, his heart you know you want to keep."

I've had more smiles, than I had cries, I love you so much and I'm not ready for any goodbyes

The Flocks Outcast

Brooding at the precise margin of the world
The jag of the history tomes timeline
Terminal chapters frequently reach its culmination in misery
It’s fitting, by ineluctability we all die ultimately
Camera lenses arrest you in maimed poses
There are pennies concealing the harassed eyes
And everyone was compelled to cast their looks aside
From the lurid compass that greets lookers
Everybody appears to glance upwards at the clouds
Again the least anticipated effectuations cheat control
But God has never recriminated their squalor
Even if it gets to operose to be sufferable
Storm clouds deluge the solitary skies
Greeting the jaded eyed multitudes below
Rain lashes out and washes the blood out
From your lacerated and broken corpus
There are pennies concealing the harassed eyes
They are beginning to rust at the median
As time performs its decrement on them
Sirens wail into the mourners abiding arms
With a lusterless acception everyone goes home
A click and the doors were locked after them
Still your body reposes in the center of a formerly crowded street
Debauched by the impure delineations being placed around
A beacon for the crows to come feast
And to make their bellies full of flesh
To late, to late!
I’ve already started to flourish off this cadaverous skin
It fufills me in every way conceivable
My stomach reachs out past me as I feed and feed
I’ll go home one day
Once I have gormandized all the rapacity

The light seemed so bright

To blame everything on everyone
Your every answer is not alright
What you got was what was done

Point your fingers at a teacher's F
Point your fingers when you fall down
Scream and cry when people laugh
Hide your face within the ground

Let tears flow when your heart starts to cry
Not everything was meant to be
Clench your teeth when a boy waves goodbye
Tell yourself, "he's not the one for me"

Sleep away the pounding of your father
Dig into your sheets at night
Forget the woeful cry of mother
Hug your pillow nice and tight

Plug your ears as curses ring
Let them drift from your tired ears
Forget what horrors tomorrow will bring
Free yourself from childhood fears

When everything else seems to fail
Unable to hide from everyday blight
Then grab a pen and let your heart wail
Now's the time for you to write

Illusion of Strength

Outside lies the armour
an illusion of my strength
For inside I cringe

I marvel at the peaceful sunset
and think the peace can be mine
What folly!

Your voice reopened the floodgates
of my pain
and I drown in my foolish illusions
What brutal truth!

I have not been loved
I've been possessed and conquered
and betrayed!

I will the gushing river of hurt
that flows from my heart
away

Making promises to myself
that tomorrow will be better

But the sun is gone now
The pink and gold has faded to gray
and fleecy white clouds
are stretched into gaunt black lines

I'm torn apart
by too greedy fingers
Nothing is left

Let me float now
and subdue the ever-rising waters

Learning to Let Go

Pushing all the fears aside
taking a few more steps into the future
learning to accept things for which I've cried

Pain only proves to create more anger
something I'm choosing to leave in my past
allowing my life to come back into color

Too many times my heart has been trespassed
leaving many open wounds behind
which cannot be easily bypassed

Though my life I do no wish to rewind
there are many things I could never explore
but first my soul must be redefined

This mind is ready to walk out the door
even though deep down inside something still feels wrong
I want to take my wings and finally soar

Eventually I'll place my feet firm on the ground; standing strong
and find the place in this world where I belong

The Last Dance

He takes her hand in his, as he pulled her to him,
They turn down the music, as the lights they dim.
They dance as one, as he whispers in her ear,
"Baby, I love you, with me have no fear.

You know you are my everything"
She replied "I know, that's why I wear this ring!"
As the song comes to an end, they see only they remain,
As the faces around them are different, nothing around is the same.

She's a little freaked out, but remains by her love,
As the two of them float high and above-
everyone else. As everyone looks and points,
As the two lovers bodies conjoint.

She wakes from her dream, as a tear falls down,
For she knows that her lover, is deep under ground.
He died for her, and now must live with the guilt,
As she lays bundled up, in his grandma's quilt.

That was their last dance, when they became prom queen and king,
The ring she wore, was their wedding ring.
However, on the way home, as he walked her to the door,
Some bum asked for money, pointed a gun, and asked for more.

They gave all they had, only the ring remained,
He said, "give it to me", as he itched his tangled mane.
The man in love, said, "no you have enough!
I'd rather you shoot me, I can take it I'm tough."

The bum followed his command, and shot him in the heart,
The reason why the two lovers are now apart.
The last dance, their last chance for love,
As a tear comes from her eye, as she stares at the ceiling above.

"Daughter of a freak"
by Wings of an Angel

Her hair so awful, her skin so pale,
She always wondered, where did she fail?
Born by a freak, raised as a slave,
No one to guide her, to tell her how to behave.
Years of working, years so dark,
She has never seen light, it has left its mark.
Shut in a room, just going out to clean,
It's the most horrifying thing they'd ever seen.
A key to lock her bedroom door,
Nothing on the walls, nothing on the floor.
No pillow, no bed, no good memories to hold,
No warmth, no love, nothing but cold.
Her mother locked the door, threw away the key,
The girl keeps asking herself "Whats so wrong with me"
Sitting in her room, hearing her mother go out,
She tries to scream, she tries to shout.
Her mother left her behind, in this room to die,
Now she's sitting there, trying not to cry.
She lays down, on the cold hard ground,
Trying to pray, hearing no sound.
Laying there for a couple of days,
in darkness and sadness, down she layes.
She will never raise again, never see the light,
She finally gives up, she will no longer fight.
Her eyes cry of sorrow, her eyes cry of tears,
Suddenly she sees something, an angel appears.
"Come with me, darling, come to the light,
"We will love you, you don't have to fight"
The angel smiles and reaches out her hand,
Where did this come from, she doesn't understand.
The girl reaches out her hand, suddenly starts to soar,
"Don't worry little darling, they won't hurt you anymore"

My Boyfriend

and he's cute as he can be.
He's also the best dressed
and he belongs only to me.

My boyfriend has the money
and hair that touch his back.
My boyfriend is the smartest
theres nothing that he lacks.

My boyfriend is so perfect
or so that it would seem.
The only flaw in my boyfriend
is that he's only in my dreams.

To Dear Simon,

You muck up in class,
And don't do the work,
You break all the rules,
And act like a jerk.

Your proud of detentions,
You pretend not to care.
Is it a plea for attention?
Do you do it for a dare?

You've had a messed up life
With your Dad leaving and all
But can't you try,
Try and be something more?

Believe it or not,
There is more to life,
Than smoking or drinking
and getting into strife.

There are more important things
Than human opinions.
You don't need acceptance
From the cool or their minions

Real friends like me

Taking My Passion Away.

When I'm dancing, It releases pain,
Takes me to a world i've never known.
Just like therapy, It spills my words,
Letting me know that I'm not alone.

A passion inside, You wanna take,
My inner drive that helps me move on.
When times are rough and I cannot smile,
You laugh, Hoping my passion is gone.

Never once have you seen me on stage,
Havn't seen all the things I can do.
From breakdancing to ballet and jazz,
I've beaten the best, I'm good, It's true.

Yet you still don't care and never will,
It's my dream that your taking away.
The only thing that makes me happy,
Is taken from me to make your day.

Then you complain I'm doing nothing,
Wasting my life for a simple dream.
But with or without you here with me,
I'm gonna work hard to get the cream.

I'm not going to hold anything back,
I will dance with my heart, Nothing else.
Let go, And let my emotions free,
Not caring 'bout no one but myself.

Take it to the max, I won't give up,
I'll dance out my heart, For you to see.

Here She Lies (Epitaph)

Here she lies not making a sound,
soon to be quietly resting under ground.
A wonderful mother and amazing wife,
now has went to heaven for eternal life.

Alone

Most kids are afraid of dark, clammy rooms.
Where you can't see a thing except your sadness and your gloom.
Where your heart is so solemn, and you feel so alone
As you grope about blindly, even though your sight is whole.

But I am not scared as I sit here alone,
As I record my thoughts with an ill-favored tone.
For this darkness is safe, it is my retreat,
A place only for myself, where no prying eyes can see.

No faces that mock me, that hear what I say,
For I'm quite alone, and I like it that way.
Nobody can judge me on any mood I may have.
On any small quality that life says is drab.

No, I am alone, nobody but me,
And I think it is nice to not be able to see.
For when you can't see, you can sit there in thought
Without criticisms of what feelings you've got.

I am alone, no one's here to say
Just who I should be, and I like it that way.
But not because I am alone, or not because it is dark,
But because I'm far away from every worldly remark.

So I can only be myself, I'm never judged, I'm free.
I am alone in the dark because the world cannot see me.

Worms eat away
the thoughts and feelings of children,

The mind, the entity,
the interwoven thought
is as a whole devoured yet ever growing,

One gets taller,
but one diminishes in size,
