Is this a possible idea?

Alright. Well, this is kind of a random idea, but I would absolutely love for it to work out. Here's the thing. Like the rest of you, I love writing. And like some of you, I write lyrics... I've been told by plenty people that I've got a great singing voice (but I don't like what I sound like to myself, nor do I have lots of confidence...but anyway, to get on with it...) There's one song that I really want to put music to and make it an official song. My problem is lack of instruments, and the knowledge to how to use those instruments.

So I had this far-fetched idea, that I doubt will work, but everything is worth a try. If anyone who has alot of time on their hands, or have put as much of themself into music as I have, would like to either take a look at my song ("Please Lie") or if you have a song of your own that you need a singer for or help with... Well, does anyone think it would be possible to record from our own computers and everything, but still work as a team and join all works together... and make some sort of internet connected 'band'.

lol I really hope this doesn't sound as stupid as I think it does...And if it does then I'm sorry to have wasted anyones time hehe. But, how possible do you think that is?

Great idea! Can you read music at all? If so, try downloading finale notepad, it is free and it helps you to compose music with little knowledge of the instruments.

lol unfortunately I cannot read music that well. I mean I know some of the rules and shtuff, but I've never actually had to. I've always been able to pick things up by ear, so my music teacher (from a long time ago) never really taught me all of it. However, I will definately take a look at it. Thanks :)

I was hoping that if someone came around this part of the forums and saw this, and Wanted to participate, then...Well, anyone's invited if they want. So, just E-mail me or leave a message right here and we can get a whole bunch of random people together, and create ...the first internet connected 'band' lol.

Even if it doesn't work out, it would be kinda fun to try don't you think?
