What kind of stupid phone do you have?

I just stood in the Verizon wireless store for an hour and got absolutley NOTHING accomplished....Lets see..I bought my phone in February 2005 right? Ok so in August 2005 ( I don't really remember exactly what happened) but something screwed up so I took it back in and the lady gave me a "brand new" phone...SO Friday night..my phone shut off..I knew I hadn't charged it all day so thats probably why..I go to turn it on and it just froze on the Verizon Wireless logo! I tried everything..I took the battery out pressed everything I knew..and even called a guy..now listen I bought that phone with my own money the first time..so I brought it in today and the lady said theres nothing they can do I'll have to buy a new phone because I'm not under warranty and the guy on the phone said I was..and she told me the phone i had was used..ummmm excuse me? I would have not excepted a used phone...so my mom is livid....we stood there for an hour and they did nothing so she called the place and was like "Your telling me my 14 YR OLD DAUGHTER bought her phone with HER OWN money and it broke after five months....then after she gets a supposably USED phone she only has 90 days warranty on that? Thats not even a full year warranty because the original phone she bought broke after only 5 months!" so my mom yelled and complained and now I'm getting another used phone in the mail until December and thats when I can get a brand new phone for free.....how ridiculous is that...I love Verizon seriously I do..My brother lives in another state and I get free long distance, I get free mobile-to-mobile, and free weeekends....but man this store only gives me trouble..I heard Cricket wasn't so good and neither was T-Mobile...what kind of phone do you have that might be better? Have you experienced crap like this?

I have T-Mobile and I love it. For 60 bucks a month I get free long distance 700 whenever minutes free nights and weekends unlimited texts and mobile to mobile. My phone was about 200 though.

Well my phones okay but the service people are pretty bad they always seem to keep me waiting until they have finished txting, or they don't know the answers to anything I ask, it's pathetic :S

yup I was thinking to switching to T-moblie actually! I dunno though..I really love Verizon but the people I deal with here in Ohio are a bunch of a-holes

I think T-Mobile is a good choice and the people are really helpful. I used to have at&t then qwest but now I am definately sticking to T mobile. I love it.

oh, i had the same problem with my phone, well, not exaclty, but the phone i had all of a sudden had all these lines across the screen, so i got a new one. then, one month later, the exact same thign started happening. it wasnt a company problem, it was just the phone brand. so they gave me a different model of a phone for free. i have the cingular network and i really like it.

Sadly we don't have T-Mobile around here.
I used to use Cricket until they screwed me over.
I had my account with them for like a year and a half and it got shut off one month cause I couldn't pay the bill. Well, I got my finances straightened out and went to have the phone turned back on, it cost me like $125.00 to get my service started again. While I was paying this, some random lady next to me was only having to pay $15 bucks to get her's turned back on cause she received some flyer in the mail (they send them out to people who can't keep their bill paid, my ex got them all the time)...so that's where I started getting hacked off.
Anyway, I pay the money my phone is turned back on and all is well. The next day I get a text message saying my bill is due in a couple of days. So I call the customer service line and ask the guy what's going on. He says it's just a fluke and not to worry about it my bill isn't due till the next month. I said, Are you sure cause I'm going out of town. Bryan reassured me that it was fine. Bryan was wrong!
I go out of town and bam...my phone is cut off in the middle of my trip. I'm beyond livid, I want to blow the flippin' store up. I get back into town and go to the store where this snotty hag informs me that when I first opened my account they set me up on a timed billing. Since I had my service turned on before the billing date it automatically bills me again and there's nothing they can do to over ride it.
So basically I payed $125.00 for 3 days worth of service and they expected me to pay them another $55.00 plus a $15.00 reconnect fee for my next month's service.
I told them they could....well you can only imagine the smut that flew out of my mouth at that point, lol.
As of now I don't have a cell phone and it's been heaven :)

i have verizon and i love it but the people who work for verizon are a bit twisted.

I had a Razor, I'm glad I got rid of it though, worthless.

Right now, I got a pre-paid phone, just need to activate it. It's the Slider Sonic from T-Mobile that has an MP3 player inside it and what not so it's cool,.

I live in ohio and they are a bunch of idiots and well let me tell ya they said my battery need a new one because it keep dying at school and well needless to say i took my fathers and it never died.

^^ they really do Amanda Renee!...thats why I'm glad I'm only 15 and can't really work buisness out like my mom...she screamed and yelled at the people on the phone...and I'm getting a free "Reconditioned" phone..meaning its used, until December when I get a free upgrade...they were gunna make me buy another one! I'm like WHAT! uh uh!
