Question about the war in Iraq

I don't think this war should be going on and I'm going to leave it at that, because I have soo many points on it.

What are you talking about? America did roll over after 9/11. Saddam was not behind 9/11, Bin Laden was and proudly admits it. Why hasn't he been found in his little hole? Standing behind someone purely because he was elected is not what freedom and democracy is about. It amazes me how you want to preach about the freedom that is fought for but then you want to deny the people of your own country their freedoms. He does not need my prayers, the people need my prayers and my fellow peoples are all I care about. Not some man who was wrong, but cant admit it. That is not strength or reason. If you want to meet a threat stroll your butt into Afghanistan, where this fight should have been all along.

First of all i'll go to afghanistan when you do, which is probably never. oh and "he who does not learn from history is bound to repeat it." you can shout till you're blue in the face with your worldly soaked mind but i still believe in the spirit of 76 which you probably don't even know about. great men preceded me and did good and i owe them something oh and so do you but you just flip up your middle finger to presidents, governments, and even God. just sit down sweetie and talk when you have something positive to say

Sweetness I have probably seen more horror in my years of teaching in Africa than you have in your life. JUst because I dont support Bush does not mean that I dont support my country. My country is not Bush.

When most teens and uninformed and judgmental adults bash the man someone has to defend him. i might not agree with him but bless God we could have a hitler who killed all minorities except for blond haired blue eyed master race people. or live in stalin's russia where he had over 25 million people killed. or we could live in an ancient rome where if you had a certain faith you were sent to the lions.

My personal feelings on the whole is that the war is dragging on. bush may be wrong. but are we gonna create more problems, or are we gonna solve the ones in front of us?

I hate the army. I mean i know that sounds bad but like i'm young and a while back it took my boyfriend away from me and it was very very very hard...almost impossible for him to get out.
and a lot of my old friends boyfriends were going to the army. idk, i just dont like it. and they lie to you too.
