Okay I have a disease called Von Willebrands Disease.. And ppl know at my school and they look at me weird like its contagious.. AND ITS NOT! What should I do?

Tell them what it is. I have a disease in my spine and all my friends thought i was going to die or thought they would get it so I told them what it was and why it happened. Now everything is normal and they dont treat me differently.

I tried telling them.. And some understood but others just are like you have a disease and im not going to be by you or touch you... HATE IT!

You're in high school and people are still stupid enough to think that all diseases are contagious, or that diseases they haven't heard of MUST be contagious? Go to a school with smarter people in it. These people sound like idiots. Honestly, in this day and age...

Oooh haemophilia. That's definately not contagious. These people need to grow up.

I DONT HAVE HAEMOPHILIA its VON WILLEBRANDS DISEASE and its a bleeding disorder where i lose more blood then a normal person with cells would.. i had my tonsils out and it was suppose to be an hour long and it was 3 hours cuz they couldnt stop my bleeding.. ended up going back there later that night cuz i almost bled to death..
