    LMAO...that was hilarious Sean Allen!

Natasha, in the words of one of my favorite quotes: If ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy. It depends on what kind of ignorance you have though, and how old you in my opinion.

I suppose it is. I mean, pretend you were in a fantastic relationship. You feel like they are the only one for you and you were the only one for them. You're incredibly happy. But then, you find out that during those 'incredible times' you were together, he was cheating on you with one of your best friends. You're not so happy then are you? I mean, you would be 'relieved' that you found out and you weren't being played like a moron anymore but, you aren't HAPPY because they have betrayed you. You were definetely happier when you were kept in the dark...doesn't mean that it was the right place to be in though...i dunno i think i just confused myself there. :)

But, if you're in school and everyone else is getting A's, B's ...etc and no matter how much you studied and exhausted yourself, you still didn't understand and you're beginning to feel really stupid and not as good as everyone else, then you're ignorance (the unable to comprehend kind of ignorance) would definetely not make you happy...it'll drag down your self esteem.

But if you were literally ignorant of what's going on around you and/or you didn't know the emotion of 'not-as-good-as-everyone-else' then i guess, you're pretty happy right? I mean, since you don't know the emotion of being hurt then, you're always happy.

But to answer the quote, " If ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy", I guess is because we undersestimate ourselves because it's a lot harder to be ignorant in a world where everyone's suspicious of each other. And being kept in the dark, if you were completely and utterly clueless of what's going on, really does keep you happy. But I don't think we're all capable of being 'kept in the dark' because there's so many things in the world that makes people automatically suspicious...you can't help but watch your back as well :)

Wow, I had a lot to say didn't I? Jeez...

I found an anonymous quote about ignorance being bliss.

If ignorance is bliss then why aren't there more happy people?

I thought it was pretty funny
