Eragon movie

Does anyoe know when the Eragon movie is coming out? I saw a poster for it at my local movie theatre but it didn't say the date for when it's coming out. Plz! Someone has to know!

Ah I love that book, but the movie, I think I heard it will be out in late 07....not too sure.

It's supposed to be in theaters December 15th.

Uh. I hate this. They are turning all of my favorite Fantasy books into movies. Just great.

I wanna see the movie... just to see how badly they screw up the book! (and Saphira and Arya!)

I absolutely hate it when they do this, they take an amazing book, and turn it into a movie that is totally different than the book. Have you all seen the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie, they cut out Effie, Bridget's twin, and totally fudged up the whole story of Lena and Kostos!!!!!!

Yes. They better not mess up this move, or I will be mad. I haven't gotten to the second Eragon book because I heard it had bad reviews. Any advice? Is it worth reading or not?

Exactly. It messes up imagination. But then I'm going to go see it anyway because I'm very curious.

But... alot of Fantasy books being made into Movies, they are changing the plots. If they make any of my favorite books into some little kid magic fest... I'm going to be so mad. No kidding.

they messed up Harry Potter 4 too!!!! gurr.. and they better NOT mess up Arya... shes my favorite.

I agree, the people who make books into movies usually mess 'em up. It's really annoying. I wonder who they are going to cast as Eragon. Anyone think they know someone who is worthy of that part? And not just Eragon, i really wonder who they're gonna cast as Brom and Ayra too.

yeah Brom is an important character. i hope whoever they cast as Eragon is cute!!! ;);)...

I am so curious to how Saphira will appear. Will she look too animated? Or will she look perfect? When flying will it look too fake? Hmm, mysteries.

saphira is probably gonna look fake. the dragon in harry potter 4 didnt look ANYTHING like the way Ms. Rowling described it.
