ok,, this isnt really any issue, it just kinda bothers me,, i leave the website on ,, over night,, and when i get up, and click my poems, it asks me to log in again, this is more of a annoyance if anything,,, would it be possable to change this? maybe host a poll on the main page to see if other agree???

    thank you

It helps as a security thing to some people. If you leave it idle too long it will sign you out. It actually helps in case you forget to close your browser or log out; it assures you that nobody else will see it and get on under your profile doing stuff you don't want to be done.

Perhaps you could have a check box when you sign in asking if you want the site to remember you until you logout by your own accord....

I have a huge amount of difficulty once ive been on the site maybe 10 minutes and i go into a love or friendship poem and it logs me out... its really aggrivating after a while...

Or you could set your browser to save your log-in details.

i agree with the check box idea,, my browser does remember my name n pass,,, its just kind of silly that after like 5 minutes of idle time,, i have to log back in,, it should be an option,, or at least the time idle should be extended

I think it's fine like it is. When I worked in an office with other people, one of the worst things was having saved log-in info and forgetting to lock your screen while you were away. So someone could wander in and screw with anything you had up on-screen or in your favourites folder. It happens to some of my own customers quite often.

It won't affect all, but it will affect some.

And speaking of the place I used to work, there was a very vain guy who had a "find love" type website log-in (despite being married) that we managed to log into when he finished his shift and forgot to log out. On it he claimed he was a technical manager of a large comms firm (he was a shift supervisor of a small comms firm - 4 people under him) and that he raced a 1000cc motorbike in his spare time (although he actually only had a 500cc bike and had once been to the TT race). So we kindly edited his profile for him to reflect the truth about him and a few other interesting additions, like his transvestitism (with photoshopped picture) and his collection of Nazi war memorabilia. Someone later went overboard and messaged a bunch of people using the account, but initially it had just been a bit of fun at his expense.

It's not hard to fix this, if someone would do it, just when you go to the love poems have the server POST your session id or the entire session array so the love poems can still access it.
